DigiResults or Paydotcom to sell my graphic design services

I run a graphic design service online and PPC has not been treating me too well. I've had up days and bad days and I'm ready to move onto affiliate marketing to market my services.

My site sells using Paypal.

I found paydotcom and digiresults as the two main Paypal-orientated affiliate sellers and I was wondering which would be best for my business?

I'd suggest perhaps not PayDotCom, simply because if you use that service, it means that you can attract only affiliates who are willing to be dependent on the vendor for their payment. That's ok if you're a very well-known, successful vendor with a long history of treating affiliates fairly and paying promptly, but many serious affiliates won't otherwise take a chance on it, when we can just as easily become an affiliate for a DigiResults or ClickBank product/service and not let our businesses be dependent on the vendor for payment.

For that rather compelling reason, I'd suggest DigiResults or ClickBank.

I am not familiar with paydotcom, but DigiResults is a hub for internet scammers. If you list with DigiResults you will need to be very diligent in weeding out the fraudsters.

I have a question. Why do you want to go to paydotcom or any other company. Why not continue to sell directly thru your website.

If you have problem with accepting credit cards, then there are alternate solutions available.

AS you are offering a service, have you tried some of the freelancer sites or even advertising on this Forum?

Its ok to give out 50% commissions when you are selling digital goods, but would you want to do that with a service ?

Many people seem to. There are plenty of "services" being marketed by ClickBank affiliates who earn 50% commissions.

The marketing is part of the cost of delivering the service. If you need to make a profit of $100 a time to make the service worth providing you don't set the price to $100 and pay 50% commission. You set it to $200 and pay 50% commission.

It's just the same as spending money on PPC, media buys, trade magazine ads, TV ads, anything. The money is just paid on a performance basis instead.

It depends on the service, grahic desiign is labour intensive. Is the OP ready to handle 50 orders in 1 week ?

True, just double your prices but how competitive will your prices be? A classified ad on the warrior forum I think is the easiest route to take.

People have been having trouble lately with BAD affiliates signing up with Digiresults. You need to be sure and develop a system for approving affiliates. They also get paid instantly with Paypal after each purchase which is part of the appeal.

The only thing with Digiresults is you pay double transaction fees, Paypal and DG, with each customer purchase. (Unless you are offering 100% commission to affiliates, in that case the AFF is paying the fees.)
