My threads questions just vanish and I always ask an internet question seeking help from successful warriors however for some unknown reasons to me my threads are erased.Anybody with this weird experience? I never post any affiliate links at all but I am now getting frustrated!

Hmmm probably just a misunderstanding Pete,

What do you seek help with?

Doesn't look like too many have been deleted to me:

Maybe they were just moved to the correct forum.

Peter if your posts were deleted they were deleted for forum rules violations that could have included spam or even a signature rule violations including having an affiliate link in your signature.

A quick review of the rules is probably in order so that your posts don't get deleted.

Thanks AlexSheton, Igiggon and JoshAnderson for responding you are real warriors! However I found my thread buried among other and I now accept it has been my fault why I don't dig for my threads my question was as follows:
How prevalent is commission theft? I direct link but sometimes I feel probably my commission is stolen and I don't want the cloaking hassles.

Second question: unlike some other questionable networks is click bank 100% reliable in paying affiliate commission? Why I am asking this question is because one warrior complained that he is promoting 'abc' program through Clickbank and he has been having a lot of targeted hits with no sales. So he claims that the program is fishy and it does not pay it's affiliate.
I am also promoting the same program but that raised an alarm. Would clickbank play a fishy game?

      Sorry you've been ignored.

Commission theft is real but I have read others that say it is not that rampant. There are a number of link cloaking systems that will do a lot more than just cloak your link. Most can track and log clicks too.

Clickbank has had some issues both real and imagined. Yes they have had some issues with virus blockers taking out your aff-id on the purchase page and so on.

But, don't put all your eggs in one basket. There are a lot more sites out there like Clickbank.

      Paydotcom-commissionjunction etc.

If you are looking to promote a specific product or market you are familiar with like "auto parts" for example, just type in a Google search -

auto parts/affiliate, and see what it spits out.

      Good luck.

I've just spent 3 hours typing what I hoped would be
at least an entertaining 2-minute post....even if I
wasn't going to help any Warrior make money
(horror of horrors) and some message from a
Moderating PC in WarriorLand refering to some
mystery Sig Rule has this 68-year-old Noob completely lost.
(BTW where do I find the Rulebook, please, anyone?)

What's the point of your Sig File if you're not allowed to
redirect friendly Warriors towards useful information?

Wow, and a whole 10 posts to your name too...

    The nerve...

If they are being deleted, there is probably more to it.

        MikeR,

The rules are very clear: No affiliate links in sig files.

        Period.

Why? Because so many programs (think MMM, for a recent example) suggest that people post affiliate links in their forum posts or sigs. That leads to a lot of people posting pointless stuff, just for the exposure to said link.

We go through the cycle more and more frequently recently, as some moron has revived it as a "suggested practice," and others are picking up on it.
