Web Designer looking to make extra money! IDEAS needed, help me get a spark.

I currently make money designing websites. I was wondering if I can make additional money submitting articles or something along those lines. I am looking to make 5$ a simple project that may take 30 min - 1 hour of work, any ideas?

if so could you set me in the right direction with a few steps of procedure to get me started...

    Why would you try to do implement an unproven idea to make only $5-$10 an hour, when you can get a real job that pays more?

      well what do you classify as a "real job"? pushing carts in for 8$ an hour working 40 hours a week doing nothing progressive, just repetitive? I have a real job I create identities and give a face to businesses. The thing about submitting articles is I can control the volume and hours I work on them. If I feel like making 100$ today I can submit 15-20 articles. If I feel like making 5-10$ I can submit 2 articles and have 23 hrs left in my day. It's like scrapping up 5$ upon 5$.

      Let me rephrase my question. List methods where you can make 5$ and you can increase the volume and pretty much scrape 5$ upon 5$.

    Do you mean make money of your own my implementing some IM ideas, or increase your income by adding more services to your web design business?

    For example, as you mentioned writing articles, that could be an upsell/add on to a web design. Web design $xxx, additional content +$xx/article, backlinks and additional SEO +$xx, etc.

    If your already making money doing websites, try designing some landing pages that users can use and put them on theme forest and charge $5 for it. You only work once and users can download as much as they want. I've seen lp's on there with hundreds of sales.

    If you into web design and looking to make extra money look for quick jobs you can do with your skills. Article writing is going to burn a visual worker out quickly. I'd offer logo work or something along those lines. Sometime that's low cost and something have could be high volume. Thanks my advice. CL, Fivver, Local Businesses... look for quick fast jobs.

      Yeah I like this idea.. I have hardly got into fiverr, its hard to find a service worth 4$ but I like the idea of logo design simple but effective thanks.

      BTW any other ideas for fiverr, tasks that aren't to daunting?

        I'd look at what others are doing that's popular in graphic design on fiverr right now and copy that. Also upsell as well once people see you can do simple job it can lead to bigger gigs. Network you heart out. Use fiver as ur calling card then offer something bigger they might just land as a bigger client. As with anything start small and then offer a discount to a bigger more $$ gig. Good luck!

    Can you comtomize a basic widget ready wp template to look unique? You know...niche it out.

    If you can....

    Put about three links in the footer of the template then encrypt the footer and part of the css file that the footer referrences. Then offer to upgrade the template for a charge of 5 dollars to remove the links in the footer and unencrypt the footer and the part of the css file. They they don't want to pay the 5 bucks then they can use the template as-is.

    You could even sell off those three links to link buyers, charging by the download with a minimum 5 dollar charge. Every month you can change out the embedded links.

    Back on the fiverr gig Idea...I would also sent my clients a url shortcut with a free gift that they have to opt in for. This will allow me to make further contact and also I can sell them offers that are related to graphics
