any one know how long it takes to get the free upgrade from the basic author level?

    You may not get an upgrade straight away - you may have to go through the basic level again.

    This depends on the quality of your articles.

      After I submitted my first 10 articles at the basic level a couple of days past and then I was upgraded to basic plus. At that level I think you get 25 submissions, then a few more days past and I was upgraded to platinum.

      To upgrade they want you to fill out a form that answers the question, why do you think you should be upgraded? I answered that question by stating that I take pride in my writing and plan to produce lots of quality content.

      It doesn't take too long to move up to the next level. While you're waiting, just keep writing more articles.

    After I submitted 9 on basic I was upgraded to Basic Plus 2 days later... I think it depends upon who is on duty though ...

    There are no fix time as to when they will upgrade you to the next level. As for me, although i have submit 10 articles, i have an error in my website where they cannot load it from their end, then they just ask me to submit another 10 articles. then once i have 20 articles approves, then only they upgrade it to the next level.

    It can take a week whether they kick you up to premium level or basic plus, which gives you 25 more submissions before they review your account again to give you premium or not. So, you'll have to sit and wait at least a week to ten days, most likely.

    Edit: Or, yes, it can take less than a week. Was about a week for me, though.
