Quick Question--What is the Best Approach for Selling a Domain Name?

I know these seems simple...and it probably is...but not my gig.

Where and how is the best way to sell a domain?
And how can you determine what its worth?

Im not necessarily talking about flipping a Website although I have one set up...but after some brief research i think it may be better to sell it.

I have heard of Site Point and Digital Point but are these the only 2? The best?

Also, Can the site be active while trying to sell the name?

Any Input would be helpful.

    Hey Sean -

    The three other places to sell domains are NamePros, DNForum and eBay. DNForum you have to pay to join.

    But I'm just gonna save you the trouble and let you know right off the bat ... The domain isn't worth anything.

    It's not descriptive, it's not a one word domain and it's not a 3/4 letter domain. It has no value in and of itself unless it's developed.

    You may be able to sell it for $2 on eBay. You won't get a buyer on NamePros or DNForum. You might be able to get $2 on Digital Point.

    Don't mean to be harsh, but the domain really just isn't a valuable one.
