PDF Files - Have a question and would appreciate help

Hello warriors,


I have alot of trouble reading pdf files due to my being visually impaired.

I have my pc background set to black and do not believe I can do that for pdf files?

I used to be able to select all and copy the file to a text box and read it there with my zoom tool.

But since i got my windows 7 I seem to not be able to do that any more.

Is there a way to eithe rchange the background color or copy the text to another text folder?

Also, is there an easy free low cost product out there that would read it for me?

    I just did a quick check in Adobe Reader X and found this.

    If you go to the Edit menu and choose Preferences and then Accessibility you can change the colors to High Contrast as well as other options.

    Also if you go to the View menu there's a Read Out Loud option that will read the file for you.

    Hope that helps.

    You probably have to convert it to Microsoft Word file to be able to do that.

    I am using Windows 7. I just opened a pdf document and was given the choice to zoom in and read it at:
    10%
    25%
    50%
    75%
    100%
    125%
    150%
    200%
    400%
    800%
    1600%
    2400%
    3200%
    6400%

      Thanks for sharing this.
      I was able to increase the font size. It was the back ground color that was hurting my eyes.
