A Question for Marketers that get Checks...

...Outside of the country that they live in....

Hey guys,

I wanted to ask the internet marketers that receive checks outside of their country of residence what they do when it comes to converting the money that they earned in a foreign market and wish to convert to their homeland currency!

Take for example me... I live in Ireland and I have gotten checks from affiliate programs in the USA. Its not too bad when you have to exchange small checks into your own currency. But, when these checks start to get bigger, then I have to be careful when I am changing them over to the euro currency as I can lose a lot of money just for exchanging the currency. I have other friends in the UK that have the same issue. The solution we came up with was to open up a US dollar account and lodge our US Checks into this account. Then wait for the right time to exchange the amount from dollar into sterling/euro. My feeling is that this will effect cashflow in a negative way! ie. stalling the exchange for the right rate of exchange.

The beauty about marketing online is that you can market anywhere in the world and make money.. However, as I am finding out you need to be careful with how you intend to convert that money you earn in one market into your own currency!

Does anyone else have this issue? I'd really like to hear from you guys that do have these things to consider.

Thanks for listening guys,

Sean
