Your advice on whom to trust for building my first niche site??

Hi all WF members,

I was trying to learn building my first WP site(as amazon affiliate). I bought 3 domain names(EMD) and after series of sufferings was able to install WP into my bluhost acc. Now I visit WP.org forum to understand how to build my site but still and after doing stuff and deleting them evey time my niche site still looks horrible and I wouldn't by from it if it was presented to me! that is why I may need to hire some one here to do it for me even though my budget is not that good. I want from this forum members to kindly direct me to an honest and reliable good service for a newbie like me.

Will I still need those boring technical knowledge to maintin my website? sorry but I find myself EXTREMELY slow on learnig this part.

I understand I should add new posts and articles on it and I believe it's one of stuff I learned to do from my previous try and error hours in WP. is there any more complicated stuff I should learn to do even after I hire sombody?

Is there any one here who outsourced his first amazon niche website when he/she was just starting out- and had a positive experience with his site builder?

Like I mentioned above I already have the product I want to promote with the domains bought.
Thank you so much for your time.

Wordpress really is easy once you get the hang of it.

What are you having trouble with exactly? Are you having trouble with putting on a theme or adding content or what?
You may be able to sort this out with just a little direction and not have to hire someone.

Trust is a personal thing, but you can begin with people listed in the Warriors-For-Hire forum. These are people like you who are interested in running a business, making money, and building a positive reputation.

If you want to narrow things down a bit more (and you should), look at their post count and post history. I believe the post history is especially important for learning who a person is - many times, a person isn't what they seem and more often than not in a positive way. Do the research, read the threads they've replied to.

Now, maintaining the website is another matter, unless you have the capital and the desire to keep the Warrior you in theory hired. Often you need not look any further than the local high school or computer trade school (ITT Tech, DeVry, etc) to find someone to manage your back end. Again with this, if you're having trouble with trust, learn more about the guy you hire first. Feel free to ask for quality references. Mom and dad or that best friend of theirs do not count for quality references. Bosses, teachers, friends they know who are community servants or leaders such as pastors or firemen do.

Basically, as a rule of thumb, when you're new to a community, if it's online search their previous posts and watch their interactions with other members. If it's offline, find people who have a good reputation within their community.

I've always believed in learning all (ok most) of the skills necessary to get the job done. When I started messing around online (I say messing around cause I wasn't exactly paying the bills ) I didn't even know how to send an email! Just learn as you go. Wordpress is really very simple to use, and most everything else involved in setting up a niche site is too. Then when you encounter problems (you will!) you don't have to rely on others to get them fixed. (except for the big ones...my webhost just lost a whole website (database) that I had worked on for years ) but that's an exception, and not the rule. Anyways, good luck on your journey, and remember...stick-to-ism!

I too believe that it is best to learn the skills yourself. Once you know what you're doing then you can outsource properly.
