Deleted thread - why?

INTERNET MARKETING

I created a thread about an hour ago on a subject which is close to my heart. After watching the earthquake disaster in turkey I want to run a wso to raise money for the victims.

I was asking fellow warriors to donate a wso of theirs and then package them all together as a mega wso.

All the proceeds would go the charity.. I would even pay for the wso listing fee!

I don't understand why this has been deleted??

No-one knows who you are. You're an anonymous member, with 65 posts, asking people to give you products to sell in the belief the money will end up where it's supposed to go.

You might be 100% sincere and honest. We don't know. But that's the problem...

I thnk Paul has quite a good point there to be honest.

It may be a genuine plea for sales to donate to the cause, but we live in a synical world and people will think you're just looking to get free WSOs...

Personally speaking, your username doesn't inspire me with the confidence to believe that you've come here as a genuine person to take part and make friends.

I'm sure we admire your desire to help and raise awareness. Better to make a donation to the Disaster's Emergency Committee - or some other appropriate organisation that you know and trust.

  One more thing. As it's something that's close to your heart, correct me if this isn't allowed Paul but you could put a link to a charity that is collecting for an appeal fund for the earthquake victims in your signature.
  
  Like I said I'm not sure you're allowed to but I have a link to a mega WSO for Kim in my signature along with another link where you can directly donate to him. It may not have the impact of your initial intention but I'm sure it could help and you could set up a thread in the OT section if you felt inclined.

Richard,

You are definitely allowed to put links in your signature to recognized charities like the Red Cross. And even to offer some sort of incentive for people to contribute money to such causes and send you copies of their receipts to same.

Thanks for the replies. Now you have raised all the above points I can see why it may have been deleted.

I will defiantly be changing my username as I am here to stay and hope to give alot to this forum.

I will also be looking into putting a link in my sig if Paul gives it the go ahead.
