Starting an online business isn't easy and if you're buying product after product that promises you fast and easy money, stop doing that. You're pissing your money away.

Read the forum and learn a few things and decide how you'd like to make money and then build a plan and learn how to do it. There's no magic buttons and no blueprint.

Sorry but this is not generally possible. You just want an EASY system to create income? Does life or business work that way? There will be work on your part unless you pay someone to totally run your business for you which would involve investment.

Create a tangible in need product with your own name (research keywords first). Buy small quantity or drop ship direct. Market online with low costing ppc ads. Rinse and repeat.

Alex, the first thing you need to do is stop it with the "Shiny Object Syndrome"

Instead, sit down and take some time to think about what you're good at, what you're passionate about, and what makes you different from the millions of people out there trying to make money online. Maybe you're an awesome writer. Maybe you have web design skills that people would be willing to pay top-dollar for. Maybe you have a great ability to connect with people, so you'd be a great affiliate marketer.

But until you figure out what you'll be happy doing 40, 50, 60+ hours a week - and coming up with a real, tangible plan to start and maintain an actual business - you won't make any money.

Whether you're online or off, starting up a business is hard work, and it takes time. There's no magical system or formula that's going to have you making money. Instead, you're going to have to treat it just like you would a brick-and-mortar business - even if you're running it from home in your PJ's

Whilst that list was great, it was mainly about providing services which is trading your time for money.

I appreciate that there are a lot of people who do that here, and whilst I'm not "dissing" anyone (I also provide services). But I also make an income from internet marketing, a passive income where I'm not trading my time for money.

I'm presuming this is something more of what you're interested in? Forgive me if I'm wrong.

There is no such system, there are approaches etc. but no push button exists. My system works for me, however it may not work for you.

Even if I directed you to Online Business (no idea if this site exists, I just made it up, if it doesn't, someone buy the domain quick though!!!) and you bought it, there are no guarantee's that it would work for you.

For example, I see so many people writing about how easy it is to make money from Facebook and Twitter etc. And it's complete fabrication from the truth. I should know, I have a huge social media network (over 52,000+ twitter followers on one account alone). It's so frustrating and I think part of the problem is people saying how easy it is when it's not!

If you want to make money fast you should get a job. If you want to work from home, then you need to provide services. And if you want to become an internet marketer earning a passive income from either affiliate products or creating your own product (this is where the real money comes into play) then be prepared for hard work - and patience, the money will not come overnight.

So what do you do now - stop buying products!!! I bet out of all the products you've bought 1. you haven't read them all. 2. you're not even sure where such and such is. 3. you haven't put into action the whole product from start to finish.

Before you buy any more products, create a plan of what you really want. Do you want to provide services, create your own product, affiliate products or a combination?

Once you've established what you really want only then can you have a clearer vision of how to get it. I would also take the time to revisit all the products you've bought, you never know you might actually have bought something of value.

I would recommend you focus on list building. If you check on google you can find a lot on the subject. Basically send free or paid traffic to a squeeze page (a page with an optin form) and get people to subscribe. Then you can send them ads over and over.

Find a niche, build a list and then promote affiliate products to them once in a while that are of value to your customer and give them other valuable stuff for free most of the time.

This can be set up pretty easily, (maybe hard at first while learning) but once you get it and get one list going, you can leave it mostly alone and move on to the next one.

Pick another niche and do it all over again. This may take a few weeks to a few months but at least you would be building something you can use repeatedly and continually.

And regardless of what else changes, you would still have the list you built.

Thanks for that guys. I appreciate the honest views. I do realise that to be rich and extremely successful then you have to put the hours and work in. There is no magic switch that will make me rich.

I do realise there are WSO offers daily and warriors do buy them as they obviously work and help right?

If I knew what I was doing would make me money I would spend 12 hours a day in front of the computer.. I am willing to work hard.

I feel like I am going round in circles which is very frustrating!

Just pick one way of making money online, and than put plenty of work on it. No other types of money making products of ways, or you will loose FOCUS and than you'll fail.
As to the WSO's. Buy only the once that go with the type of IM you are doing and don't buy any others, or you will get distracted and start jumping from one offer to another, and than as I said before - you'll fail.

Internet Business is just like any other businesses with one difference... The Internet moves quick and fast

It means that you will make money very quickly if you have the right steps... and lose money even quicker if you have no idea where you are going

First is always offer value

Money automatically flows to people who provide something of high perceived value to them

This is really how money works and how the society rewards people

Don't think "make money"

Think "attract money" instead

"Make Money" implicitly trains your brain to believe that work is somehow proportionate to your income

"Attract Money" implicitly trains your brain to think in terms of value and ideas to get money coming to you

Reading the list and feeling that I don't know a thing about IM

I really like the list, I feel that it provides value, probably more so than some of the paid information products out there.

Clarity is a HUGE part of IM success.

IM is actually pretty simple: you can sell only one of two things:

1. Products
2. Services

That's it!

And selling products or services online happens in the same basic way for everyone, no matter what they're selling:

Traffic > Opt-in page > Autoresponder series (or e-zine) > Sales page

That's it! It's just that simple. (We IMers tend to overcomplicate things.)

But no matter what your niche is, or whether you're selling a product or a service, do you know what your business model is?

A business model is the framework or skeleton of your business. Essentially there are three types of online business models:

1. Membership-based model

A membership-based business model allows you to build a community of people (your members) who are as passionate about your subject as you are. Your membership fees can be monthly or annual, but either way, you're building recurring, passive income.

There are a lot of resources and information out there to help you build a membership-based business if you're interested in doing this.

2. Product-based model

Selling products allows you to maximize your time and effort by selling items over and over again. This can be hard goods or it can be information products. Information marketing is it's own business model under the product-based model. Information marketing allows you to take your brain to the bank by creating a product ONCE based on what you know and selling it over and over again.

I see someone has already recommended affiliate marketing. You can choose to market either products or services as an affiliate.

3. Service-based model

Selling services can be great for 1) generating quick cash (as in the case of article writing or video producing) and 2) establishing your expertise and getting testimonials.

However, in the long run, your goal should be to offer services at a PREMIUM. The biggest advantage of IM is LEVERAGE. You're able to leverage your time, money and expertise exponentially online. We all have just 24 hours each day. Time to get ruthless about what you expect for those hours you spend in IM each day. Expect more of yourself and more from your business friends, clients, partners, etc.

What results are you getting for those hours you spend online each day? Ultimately, your services should be at the bottom of your funnel and cost the most since they involve your time and personal attention. (We all have a limited amount of time each day.)

The fun (and confusion) comes in with all of the endless mix-and-match possibilities of the above models. If you're just starting or still struggling to make money, keep it simple:

Pick just ONE!

1. Pick ONE niche. (Something you're interested in and know something about.)

2. Pick ONE target market for your product or service. (Who will buy what you're offering? The more specific you are, the more you narrow it down, the more successful you'll be.)

3. Pick ONE business model.

Now that you're clear about what business you're in, FOCUS! (And stop buying any info not related to your niche and target market, period!)

O -- One
C -- Course
U -- Until
S -- Successful

In IM, it's easy to put the cart before the horse. Take a deep breath, step back and consider what type of business you're REALLY want. Don't worry about getting traffic or buying that expensive traffic product until you know 1) what your business model is, 2) what niche you're in and 3) WHO your target market is!

Successful business people will tell you that MARKETING is more than half the effort that's needed for success anyway. So pick a niche, target market and business model. Then spend most of your time and effort marketing it.

If you DON'T have a solid plan or system, THAT'S when it's hard. A good system will shave YEARS (and save you big $$$) off of your learning curve

That's why I recommend investing in at least one good, comprehensive IM course (or mentor who will give you such a system) instead of jumping from one $37 e-book to the next. A lot of people here complain about not being able to make any money. But neither are they willing to invest in their business. (Buying a random bunch of $37 e-books doesn't count.)

The best thing I ever did was invest in a comprehensive IM course aimed at REAL business owners, not just other IM wannabes. Yes it was $1500. (Now it's only $997. :p) But it was truly some of the best A-Z IM info I ever bought. Everything else I've learned (from the $37 e-books) since has simply been plugged into this system.

Get a solid plan or system and then work the plan!

First and foremost you should decide on what is it exactly you want to do? Internet marketing? Affiliate? Create your own product? What market/niche are you wanting to get into? What's your game plan man? It all begins with a plan...

There is no way to make easy money and those that sell you secrets, you may as well just give them your money.

Everything is HARD WORK and TESTING. Nothing is easy.

Wow... lots of great advice here. That's why I love this place!

My .02 has probably been talked about already but I would emphasize that what will make the difference is knowing where you want to be in the next 12 months.

To do that well, you need to figure out what matters most to you and write it down.

Once you've done that take the time to figure out what you're good at. Everyone is good at something. If you're not sure what you're good at ask someone who knows you well. A good friend can be a real asset at determining your strengths, and weaknesses.

What do you enjoy doing the most? Is there an aspect of IM that appeals to you (besides just making money) is it product creation, SEO, what?! Figure that out because to make money in IM you're going to need to come to the realization that you will be working... working a lot in the beginning. So it makes sense to work hard doing something you love.

Once you've identified what you want to work on then go learn all you can about that one thing. I agree with the others in this thread who encourage NOT buying the next shiny object.

An lastly, I do agree that generating passive income, making money while you sleep if you will, is a great area to look at when you want a system that "really works". Services are great, I've been there and done that. But there is nothing sweeter than waking up in the morning and seeing that your product has been working all night making you money. :-)

I guess the best system that works is you. Take the time to discover your difference and leverage your strength.

It's not a "overnight system" but it does work.

Why are you desperate for something easy? None of it's easy.

Been at this full time at home now since 2004 and there is no easy way to make a killing fast at this. I mean I can create 120 one thousand word posts of "original content" in an hour all scheduled in Wordpress, so NOW it's really easy and fast;

BUT, but that took months of work writing the Content Spider Program, the UE Macros, and a custom Wordpress core and Sister Plugins. And it took 5 years learning to write code in PHP, HTML, and Perl to even be able to undertake such a project.

So the system post 15 one thousand word posts a day - GREAT! BUT AGAIN;
Even with ALL THAT ABOVE, I will have to wait for months to get any decent traffic.

Nothing fast for cash online. If you really want fast cash go downtown, put out your thumb and start sucking (be sure to wrap them first).

The list is great without a doubt, but nothing on that list demands a quick and effortless solution to make money online. You are a prime example of many people who waste money on useless products that promises nothing. Just as TZ I've also been working online since 2004 and it isn't easy, there is no quick way I'm afraid to say.
