Need you to weigh in on the easiest software program to create and record a PowerPoint video...I'm a complete non-techie, so please accent on EASY...

Animoto.com is pretty easy to use. You don't even have to use images or a PowerPoint presentation- you can just use their text slides.

The only problem with those slides is that you can only put 2 lines on them- a title and a subtitle. If you want more than that, you can make images in PowerPoint or OpenOffice and then upload them to Animoto.

Can't you fire up Camtasia and record your Powerpoint presentation as you're narrating? This seems to me to be the easiest way to do it.

  Actually that's true, dunno why I didnt think about that.
  
  Camtasia is expensive, but Camstudio does the same thing (just about) and is free.

If you have a mac , you can use Quick time Pro , it is totally free , and recored whatever you want , Audio , Video ...

I've used Xilisoft PowerPoint to Video Converter Business. Not free but works well on converting Power Points to Video.

Hi Justin,

I create the PowerPoint slides and then pull them into Window Movie Maker. I then narrate it in Windows Movie Maker, and add all the extra bits and sound tracks I need.
