Hi guys,

Quick question for you - what is your email address thoughts?

Let's say my company is called 'myproduct'

Do you use:

your personal email address (myname@gmail.com)
your name with your company domain (myname@myproduct.com)
Generic email (info@myproduct.com)

I'm thining of getting a VA to answer all my company emails - so not sure what the best option is?

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Thanks

If you're getting a VA and it's not you personally answering the emails, then I say go for the info@myproduct.com would seem more of an assistant sending out the emails.

Yeah, I agree.....if your getting your VA to answer your emails and you are not the one dictating the emails to him/her than I would use something besides your name - @myproduct.com

I would use sales or customerservice, techsupport, @myproduct.com.

I usually use multiple emails @myproduct.com

I definitely have info@ and the myname@. I use info for general inquiries, etc. And I use myname@ when I'm personally sending an email to someone.

I definitely would not have a VA sending emails from myname@

    Hey jeskola,

If you're using a VA to answer your emails, I would get them to send and receive emails from this address: theirname@company.com - it's just more professional and it's what a large company would do. However, if you want your VA to answer emails on your behalf then it should be yourname@company.com. The other two really don't compare

    Cheers,
    Mark
