Thanks for your great info, but I had a brief look at them and what I actually want is an eBook directory where I can submit my own eBooks..

  Yes, that's exactly what you can do! I'll give you an example: go to this page: http://e-library.net/add.html
  
  Here you will be able to submit your own eBook! You just need to find a link like 'Add eBook' or 'Submit eBook' in the other sites that I gave you.

I can't vouch for their SEO benefit for leaving links (such as in description), but the actual page on these sites rank well.
