Seems like they made some nice changes. Kind of making it the way Google+ looks like.

    Yuck cant stand it. Google are ruining all their designs. First Adsense (although the charts are cool) then Analytics and now Youtube.

    Much prefer the white background that the old YT had

        I was about to start a thread on this topic earlier.

        The new style is rolled out across the entire site. This includes channel designs. This is where the main problem lies.

        Not only is it another terrible update from Google, who apparently have no concept of usability nor aesthetics as one of the worlds leading Internet companies, they have defecated on everyone from a great height, who have expended time and money into designing / personalizing their channels - only just recovering from the last ridiculous change.

        This company really never fails to amaze me.

        They claim they are moving with the times, but they need to consider moving with the people too.

    I have to tell you. Each time they "FIX" you tube they make it worse. After a while people may go away. It is now slower even. Also it does try to re download a movie. Yeah, when you try to re play one. I dislike the gaps. Boys and girls, amateur hour is over.

    I had just seen it before I clicked this thread. My first impressions are that I just don't care for it. I don't see why everyone needs to try to fix what ain't broke. I fail to see why the old one was a problem.

    Google seem to be updating all their web properties at the mo.

    Me personally I hate change but you get used to it and after a month you'll forget if their ever their was an update in the first place.

    The design they have live at YouTube.com will work better with the type of traffic they get. There are a lot of people who go on YouTube to find out the latest and greatest videos to watch. The new design you are showing us won't allow for that. At least not from the home page.
