sites like fiverr - Does anyone have a list?

I have a list of over 100 fiverr like websites but before I can show you list I have to put it online so give me some time. I will post it soon.

Theres alot of good reasons to use the other microjobs sites. First let me start by saying its true Fiveer gets massive amounts of traffic but this traffic can also be the downfall if your a seller because you are hidden among the hundreds of other sellers.

The benifits are

1) Most of the sellers on Fiverr can be found on the aalternate sites.
2) Many sites have cheaper commissions than fiverr.
3) Many sites have a shorter payout time than fiverr
4) Many have no minimm limit of the payout value
5) Jobs which could not possibly be offered for as little as $5 are offered for values from $6 up to $500
6) You can generally talk directly with the owner of the microjob site, who cares about his customers. You generally do not get standard autoresponses.
7) Many sites cater for other currencies/countries/languages
8) The top 50 sites are nearly all PR2-PR4 sites, many allowing references to your website. Can you afford to ignore all that traffic?

You should have "hits" to your gig Pariah as I personally promote each members gig.

We are now the 5th largest clone.

This is how I see it, for a Fiverr alternative to be worthwhile, they must offer something more one way or another to compensate for the decrease in traffic exposure. So sites which have a commission of 20% are not worthwhile, if you are paying that much in commission to the site, you might as well post your gigs on Fiverr.

I have tried a few alternatives like GigBucks and GigPursuits. GigBucks have a commission rate of 18%, 2% better than Fiverr. (better than nothing). GigBucks also have this service provided by onlywire.com where they post your gigs on various social media sites. This is abit hit and miss I think. If you look at the GigBucks twitter feeds, its just basically a list of the gigs they have on the site. Looks a little spammy.

GigPursuits have a commission rate of 10% until 1st August 2012 and then 14% thereafter. They offer bank wire withdrawals so for Australians like me, really beneficial as we don't pay any fees for bank wire transfer. They support is also impeccable, first site I have seen to have SMS support.

Fiverr alternatives can work if you advertise your gigs correctly. Fiverr is very different to say eBay. I would never use an eBay alternative. Auctions and gigs are two totally different things. If less people bid on your auctions, the final price drops. However the price of your gigs are fixed, so as long as you advertise and attract enough people to your gigs, using a Fiverr alternative like Gigbucks and GigPursuits is fine.

I had used Fiverr almost exclusively due to my satisfaction with the the 'flow' of the services from start to finish on scores of transactions, and the array of services offered for the price.

Last Thursday, without explanation, Paypal restricted my account due to 'suspicious activity'. They never explained what this activity was. Fiverr complied immediately by (1) listing as 'cancelled' on two jobs that had already been successfully completed and paid to the vendors, (2) preventing my contact with either of the vendors due to some boilerplate message citing 'privacy concerns'. More than anything, I wanted to let the 2 vendors know that I had not cancelled the requests. My concern was for the appearance that I had 'stolen' services, particularly since I had already left favorable feedback for each vendor. This happened at the worst possible time in the context of a number of activities that I have underway for a current product launch. I can ill afford any impropriety or bad publicity in the public eye, particularly in the context of such there being such a small amount of money at stake. The potential consequences here far outweighed any actual damage done. A vendor who posts my video in the path of thousands could very well put a complaint in front of thousands just as quickly.

I did not request the cancellation. I did not request the refund. I wanted desperately to contact the vendors. Thanks to Paypal, and with the cooperation of Fiverr, all of this was totally out of my control.

I filed a request with Fiverr customer 'non'-service to ask that they not complete the cancellations and to ensure that the vendors were paid. I asked that the vendors be contacted to inform them of the Paypal error.

I jumped through a long series of hoops with Paypal to get my account cleared as quickly as I could do so. After password changes, ID verification (Paypal's 'fastest' method was flawed, resulting in my having to use a slower, alternate method), Paypal cleared my account in about 24 hours.

A day later, I attempted a new Fiverr transaction and was still told that my account was suspended and that I could not contact the vendors.

48 hours after my initial customer 'non'-service action, I filed a second request with customer 'non'-service to inform them that (1) Paypal had already given them their reason to clear my account over 24 hours ago, and, (2) my current activities had demanded that I seek services elsewhere, due to their immediate enforcement of a suspension, followed by a most lax response possible in the clearing.

I'm now a happy customer another service.

They've broken my habit. I will probably go back to Fiverr only when I am under pressure to do so.

We just launched a fiverr like website next to our seo forum only targeting Seo and internet Marketing gigs. We will separate ourselves from all the other clones by only offering high quality gigs. How can we do that? We work together with about 20 top freelancers who can do all the gigs for us, and we will charge 9,95$ per year for other people who want to sell gigs. This way we can cut out all the scammers and poor quality gigs who are listed on all the other sites.

We'll also have an affiliate program with commissions of 5$ per referred seller and 10% commission on every gig sold by that seller.
This way if you refer a seller you can also get 10% discount on every gig that seller lists.

But our main focus will be quality and good moderation of every gig listed so we can offer high quality gigs for our visitors and forum members.
