Email Marketing question. Where to buy a blast??

I would search for blogs in Google and pick a few on the first few pages. Then I'd check out their traffic stats by looking them up in Quantcast. When I find ones that I like I'd contact the owners and ask them about solo mailings.

Thanks Jay. Is this the most common way? is there no marketplace like TLA for renting backlinks and blogvertise for blog posts? There has to be a marketplace for this.

There is always a market for it, but so many email companies no matter how hard they try have to get past the stigma of the internet, and most marketers are bombarded to offer there product in there mail. I for one don't want advertising from someone else in my email blasts.

Now there is a legitimate company I have found that will send out a campaign for you and guarantee a 50 percent open rate. They can do this because if you do not get your 50 percent open they send out another blast.

I have used them before and had a great success. I use them when I'm doing something I have not done before and need a list built. I will usually start with just 300,000 and then if I get good results will go ahead and do a million, if they have that many.
I can not give you figures or conversions since everything I usually do with them is totally new and I have nothing to base it on and it is different for each niche.

They mail from there servers though so you don't have a chance of getting your hosting account deleted. Never had a problem with them and I think I usually pay 39 or 49 for 300,000 I can not remember.

Almost every time, but everytime I did get my moneys worth, I hope that helps. What I mean is I have used them quite frequently. Some things just didn't market well there and I had a feeling they wouldn't since I could not find a category with what I was doing and had to pick the closest category they had. I always felt my money was well spent though and sometimes I felt like I ripped them off.

Look into the Directory of Ezines (google for the URL - don't have it handy). I'm not a member but I've never come across a Warrior who doesn't approve of them.

They have niche lists.

I mean think about it. As long as it is not coming from your ip. And if the blast just does .001% of 300,000 you have 3 sales. Lets say you do 1 percent on collection of emails with a free product then 3000 emails. Now I have only gotten that a couple of times, but I feel emails are easily worth 49.00 even to get 1,000 legitimate people interested in the blast.

How far do you go back with this site that is only 8 days old now? Have you been buying campaigns from them since way back last week?

Sounds like you've had several successful campaigns since this company was founded a week ago. Did you run the first campaign the day they opened last Monday? Second campaign on Tuesday?

Thanks for sharing such a valuable resource. It is always nice when Warriors share valuable resources even when they have absolutely no stake in promoting the company in question.

One more question... How do you figure they gathered those millions of opt-in's in just one week of existence?

Oh yeah... just one more... when you started this site with those millions of emails... why didn't you just promote the site yourself using those millions of emails? Why did you think it was necessary to SPAM this forum?

No I do apologize, I went back and checked the website, your absolutly correct, although I have not used them in about a month and a half, but it looks exactly like the same company I used. I do not own the site.

The warrior forum is the best place to start just use the search box properly to do solo ads with trusted warriors here

i used to use mike filsaime's listdotcom dot com site for blasting emails and noticed its down now. kicker is, i was a paid diamond member too lol WTH

oh well, guess maybe i'll try that email service mentioned up above and see what results i get.

Another idea is to search in some freelance website (just google "freelance") and ask there for prices/specifications etc

What sort of results are actually attainable for using a email blast service like OptinAdvertising? I see they have an extensive database of people to target - say I wanted to target their small business category with Facebook fan page design, if I have a decently converting landing page, what sort of response might be typical? I'm not very familiar with these type of services, so any advice would be appreciated.

use googles keyword tool and look for fashion sites, then take those keywords and put them in google and look for blogs and websites about fashion. see if they have an opt in form or some way to capture their visitors emails for a newsletter or updates etc.

then email the owner of the website and ask if they are willing to do a solo mailing to their list for X amount of $$. that's it.

its a process, but if u spend an hour a day doing this, it'll work. plus you'll find some gem lists.

How about the old fashion way of elbow grease and building email list yourself, with hard work and a well oiled engine. That has been working for what.....ummm...since the beginning of the internet...and probably for the next 100 years.
