The site in my signature box is just my blog - fatlosshaven, I will change it now to my sales page so you can have a look if you want. The blog is what I started out with the first month I started online in October. I didn't know a single thing so Alex told me to make a blog, so thats what I did.

After I made my blog I promoted an affiliate product to the list I was building in november with a free 6 day ecourse i made, again because alex told me too and I made over $100 from a small list but I haven't got that money yet because you have to have 5 or more seperate cards buy on clickbank before you get a cheque or someting like that.

So then in december i decided to make my own product with an upsell and a downsell like Alex recommended and it took me longer than i thought because I got a bit of shiny object syndrome because I found out about WSO's.

After a couple of weeks I realised I wasn't focusing on my business because I was buying wso's and putting off the important.

Alex got me back on track, I got an accountability partner and I have weekly calls with him to make sure were both on track.

Finally I finished my product over the christmas period and in January I started to build the framework for my funnel.

I started with the sales page for rapid-fat-loss-diet and went on to build an upsell page, downsell page, download pages and squeeze pages.

Now I am working on putting video on my site to increase conversions before I can approach affiliates and i working on a killer A/R sequence to promote the low ticket offer for the people who download my freebie and to promote the upsell for people that don't buy it.

I made the sales pages with optimize press myself but outsourced my blog on scriptlance for $80, I have a FANTASTIC outsource lady for customizing wordpress site. I'll be happy to share who it is if you want.

I couldn't agree more and I am very thankful I 'got' it early on. All thanks to Alex, I know with his help I will get to where I want to go.

At the end of the day for anyone starting out online who's a newbie, like me, the fastest and easiest way to success online is following a proven system.

AND

taking action!

All I have done is take small action steps daily and over time it builds up, you get more momentum and you start seeing little successes. Hopefully it won't be long until I start seeing big successes soon

All I have done for traffic are blogposts that I submit to ezine articles, I have less than 10 at the minute.

And the rest is all referal traffic from people that are using my system to drop fat. Because it works really good people refer others to the site.

At the minute I have a $20 front end product with a $47 upsell and a $27 downsell.

When my A/R sequence is set up right I'm going to get the EPC to $1 and offer affiliates 100% comissions on the front end and 50% on the upsell and downsell and have affiliates as my main traffic source.

That the plan

Then add a $97 upsell and a $37pm membership site.

Then I will be making more than enough to quit my job and work online full time, I would love to help other people do the same when I'm at that stage.

Mr international it took me 30 days to go from zero to profit.. I made my blog called fatlosshaven then I made a free product to giveaway to start building a list. At the end of the month I sent an affiliate promotion to the list and made sales. Only $127

But I haven't go that money yet because I need more cards to buy from my clickbank account before they will send me the cheque.

So in summary i would say from complete newbie...

September - made my blog, made a free offer, started building my list, sent my first affiliate promotion

October - started learning about about driving traffic and building my list.

November - I got shiny object syndrome because learned about WSO's, brought a few and basically learned that I should focus on my next step to build my business and not all these shiny objects. Decided to make my first product.

December - made my first product ($20)

January - made the upsell and the downsell ($47 and $27) and got my plans for 2012 set. Made the copy and framework for my site.

Today - 26th Jan - made my first real money online - $107 straight into my paypal account completely on autopilot!

Creativeflair - no the methods have no side effects what so ever. If they did I wouldn't make a product about it because I want to build a strong and ethical business, I don't want to trick people. And I have learned that you have to add massive value, I wouldn't be adding massive value if I was tricking people or if they were side effects. Hope that answers your question

Bushidosurfer - I didn't really convince myself to stick to one method right off the bat, I just did what Alex said. Literally after his training I would mastermind with him and say "I've done this.. What should I do next week?" he would tell me and then I would just do what he said. I understand success leaves clues so I just knew to do what he said and I would be on the right path.

Then one month I got distracted a lot trying out stuff with wso's I brought and I realised I'm not getting any further in building my business so I decided to stop everything and just focus on one thing.

To stay focused I took Alex's advice which is:

Plan tomorrow today - so I know exactly what I have to do tomorrow to move my business forward (hint it's NOT buying wso's, going on Facebook or spending loads of time in my inbox reading the tons of emails I get sent from other marketers)

Have an accountability partner - I have a call with my accountability partner (Nick Farina) who is another one of Alex's students every Tuesday where we review the week and choose 3 things that we MUST do next week to move our business forward. And this 3 things are critical tasks that even if we do nothing all week apart from them 3 tasks we will be moving in the right direction.

I'm on the coach back home from London and I fell asleep, checked PayPal and made $87 since I nodded off lol!

I understand what your saying about rinse and repeat, I'm going to check google analytics when I get home and see where the traffic is coming from, I think it will be coming from Facebook or my blog but I'm not sure though.

Then I'm going to register with clickbank and put it on there and start getting affiliates to promote, will have to do that after work (can't wait till I'm working online full time!!)

Just wanted to give my 2 cents worth on Ryan. Ryan is actually my accountability partner as part of a coaching program we are both in which basically means, once a week I have a call with Ryan where we set tasks for the week and are accountibility partner.

I can say in the last few months since I have been partnered with Ryan I have learnt how driven he is. I mean seriously driven, if he doesnt know how to do something, he'll find out or get someone to do it for him.

The fact that he has created this product from scratch when a few short months ago he knew diddly squat about Internet Marketing is all the more impressive.

My weekly calls with him has certain made me step up my game.

I can say with complete confidence that Ryan is gonna absolutely SMASH it in 2012 within this niche.

I think the lesson in here is that you will only have success, no matter how big or small, if you take action. Ryan has definitely proved that!

Great job, Ryan! I'm hoping to follow the same path, making money online selling products I've created... still in the learning stages for now though. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I'll answer your 3 questions as best I can below..

(1) I just checked analytics and my traffic is coming from...

* Facebook Traffic (viral)
* Direct (I guess from customer's sharing the site with other people after they see results)
* From my blog (fatlosshaven.com)

- I am planning on getting all my traffic from affiliates and JV's moving forward -

(2) I have a front end offer ($20) after a prospect buys they see an upsell ($47) and if they don't take that they see a downsell ($27)

- I am planning on making a membership site moving forward. $1 7 day trial then $10 a month with content updated monthly -

(3) I build a prospect list from the free report on my blog and I build a buyers list as customers have to opt in to receive the download link for the product via email.

I have a 7 day A/R sequence promoting the front end for the prospects, I do this by giving away a lot of value as well as selling my front end.

- I am planning on making another 7 day A/R sequence with the first 1-2 days educating the customers why they should buy the upsell and the following 5 days promoting the low tier membership site -
