do i keep going? (collecting double opt-ins)

i launched a FB ppc campaign today on a topic i suspected i could get quite a good ctr with.

Its now active and i have a 0.145CTR, which i think is quite good, and they are subscribing to my list too, so far im paying about $0.14 per subscriber.

there is CPA offers to suit this list although not on my current network. also theres clickbank products that could well convert.

so my question is do you think i should keep getting the subscribers at this price?, and am i right in thinking i can reduce my cpm bid soon if i maintain a 0.145 ctr?

thanks in advance for any input

You should if you can monetize the list to produce more income than you're spending on acquisition, because then you'll be making a profit.

You probably shouldn't if you can't monetize the list to produce more income than you're spending on acquisition, because then you'll be making a loss (unless you can stand a short-term loss over it for the possible longer-term advantage of list-building).

It's not a question anyone can answer without knowing anything about how much income you can make from this list. Knowing about the products/services potentially available to promote to them can't, in itself, answer your question, I think?

yeah I understand its a question that doesn't have a clear answer, there is Clickbank products that generate $20 or so per sale, so 1 sale would buy me lots of sub's (its in the gaming niche) Clickbank product is a guide)

I'm just wondering what other warriors are paying per sub, and if there are seeing a return in reasonable time.

I think you are probably better off testing to see if the subscribers you are getting are going to return a profit or not...

Each business is different so the cost of acquisition of subscribers will vary greatly from person to person and from niche to niche depending on various factors.

Stick a clickbank offer on the thankyou page and see what the results are like.

      Regards

That's the point to focus on. If the source of sign-ups remains the same, then before you sink a lot more into acquisition, find out if your return justifies it. Alternatively, consider adding a one-time offer to your sign-up process. With the right targeted offer you can probably cover the investment you're making to get new subscribers as they're signing up. That would be great, huh? To be able to essentially build your list for free?

If you're getting your subscribers that cheap, I'm certain that with a properly optimized sales funnel targeted closely at their interest, you should be able to make some profit.

Even CPA companies that do just email submits, pay more than a dollar/subscriber still make good profit from broad offers.

try to split test to see if you could get an even lower price for facebook an test 1 offer to see that your list could convert but dont go spamming your list

i gues in your case cpa offers would be the way to go
