Learning from experience or learning from WSOs, which WSOs?

I found that learning from experience gives me deep understanding and learning from WSOs provides guidelines/directions about what to do.

So far I found all three WSOs that I bought are helpful. I spend 2.5 hours reading all three WSOs. I really focus to just discover what I need, to fill my knowledge gap, skip parts that I know well.

However, it seems every third person release their own WSOs, for a newbie like me, it is very hard to filter good WSOs from time wasted WSOs. I always record my time and money, especially time. Any tip to find a good WSOs in the area below? I am keen to learn further on
  1. keywords research (niche)
  2. keywords tracking
  3. backlink monitoring
  4. visitor analysis
  5. split testing (comparing page A vs page B)
Please let me know if you could recommend any resource/WSOs/tools (either free or paid). So far I am using

- Ultimate Niche Finder by Clyde for keyword research.
- Google Analytics free tool for backlink monitoring, visitor analysis, split testing
- Cleverstat.com for keywords tracking.

I bought 3 WSOs so far (I am very selective),
Two questions:
  1. What tools do you use for keywords research, keywords tracking, backlink monitoring, visitor analysis and split testing?
  2. Which WSOs are useful for keywords research, keywords tracking, backlink monitoring, visitor analysis and split testing?

Many thanks for your thought and sharing.

Andrew

they say experience is the best teacher. you can learn from your faliures, even when you buy WSOs that turn out to be a waste of money thats a lesson.

i think everyone will agree market samurai is the best keyword tool out there. All the others have come and gone but market samaurai has stuck around, they are simply the best!

I have a trial version of Market Samurai, very slow and buggy. Someone recommended SEORush, will do more research on this later.

I tend to agree that experience is the best teacher but if you can find a good WSO that works to. How to finding a good WSO there are plenty here but there are a few not so great how to filter them that comes from
      experience.
As for keywords i have use Traffic Travis and Niche finder both did the job.

I prefer learning from WSOs. I feel it's much more efficient because they give you a context to learn the material.

I'd say you're always going to learn from experience.

      This encompasses WSOs.

I've purchased some WSO's in the past but nothing that I actually use to make money on a regular basis has come from them. Most of them have just been PDF's. I just prefer really high-quality video and really comprehensive, step-by-step courses. I don't even use all those tools. I use Google analyics for tracking traffic and things of the like. I use the free Google keyword tool when I'm gonna do research.

I've heard that Google webmaster tools, which is also free, is supposed to tell you at what position your site ranks for certain keywords. I've put off installing that because I'm lazy and don't pay it much mind since I am getting good I'm traffic and making sales. I like I'm gonna install it over the weekend just to see how it works out.

Market Samurai is not as good as it used to be and never will be again because of the changes with the big G.

Micro niche finder is a very good tool for finding niche keywords.

Personally for keyword research I like to use Micro Niche Finder or Brad Callen's 'Niche Finder'... Great experience with both!

Ya, you need to get the guidelines from somewhere, I prefer to get them from coaching... But even the best coaching won't get you to take action - that's all on you. From learning the ropes you have to then make the effort, stumble, then re-adjust before you can really do well.
