Help! Significant Keyword Downgrade from Google!

Hi All,

My coin business has been severely affected by Google's most recent algorithim update, and I need assistance with getting my "money" keywords back toward the top of Google's rankings.

Below are the previous and currently rankings of my most frequently searched keywords. This change appeared to happen overnight - sometime between Thursday and Sunday of this past week:

Previous Rank Current Rank
Keyword 1 1 or 2 9
Keyword 2 1 or 2 10
Keyword 3 6 - 8 8
Keyword 4 8 - 10 73
Keyword 5 4 - 6 Not Ranked
Keyword 6 5 - 7 35
Keyword 7 4 - 6 43
Keyword 8 5 - 7 27
Keyword 9 1 13
Keyword 10 3 - 6 10
Keyword 11 1 or 2 Not Ranked
Keyword 12 1 10
Keyword 13 3 - 5 26
Keyword 14 4 - 6 63

As a bit of background, I've been using Build My Rank, Linxboss (an automated link builder), and Unique Article Wizard, as well as some manual link building, but to a lesser extent. The keywords that I was using under my Linxboss subscription appeared to be affected the most, followed by Build My Rank, and then Unique Article Wizard.

I'm asking my SEO consultant to build manual links using my "money" keywords in hopes of getting them ranked close to their pre-Google algorithim update, but in the meantime, I'd appreciate any assistance forum members can provide, such as software programs that I should or shouldn't be using (already cancelled my Linxboss subscription), what type of SEO techniques Google appears to be rewarding, as well as any other SEO techniques that I should consider using or be employing, etc.

Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Tony

    BMR is footprint city.

There is also a new Google penalty that just came out in the last week or two with deindexation. If a link farm gets deindexed, it typically points the penalty to the sites it linked to.

That's probably what happened. Looks similar to a lot of our clients.

      True.

Scariest part is there are a lot of people on THIS forum still selling it...which means they are basically scamming people.

Google has no way of knowing if a link was built by a bot or by hand. It is not the method used to build it is the landing chosen for the link.

Get a link on a site that is promoting porn or even a blog that anyone can see is full of spam comments and it can hurt a little. get links on thousands of these sites and it can hurt a lot.

There is a need for link diversification so if all your links appear to come from the farm ... you will probably lose yours lol.

I also had one of my sites delisted recently from automated links, as we all know google updates its algorythum every 5 minutes. Automated link building was until recently pretty effective now however google is punishing this approach more and more. Cataclysm1987 is right maybe we should go onto these wso's and let everyone know what they're getting in for now?

      I wouldn't do that.

I'd just start messaging the moderators and reporting them.

Services like XRumer and link farms are mega risky these days, worse than they used to be. Until WF wakes up and starts making a big fuss about it, complaining in the WSO thread is only going to get YOU banned.

i didn't mean literally cataclysm i said it tongue in cheek, like you said however, it's up to the wf to get a grip on this situation like xrumer etc. as it really concerns me as people are putting their sites in jeopardy without realsiing it. The risk v reward is really bad with this kind of backlinking approach.
