Sales Funnel in the 'IM Niche'

I've never been involved in the so-called IM niche; I dropship and do some lead generation in other areas. I think I want to get my feet wet a bit, and see if I like the area at all.

That being said I don't have any IM products I've created (yet) or anything, and wanted to see what people think about those sort of plug n' play sales funnels that I've seen out there. You know the type. I start to build a list of subscribers, and then the goal of my email sequence is to get them basically into someone else's email sequence where they then pay you X% of any products your subscribers are sold.

Are those any good for someone who doesn't have products, or even yet an idea of different products to promote along the way? If so, any recommendations on a nice sales funnel to send people toward? Thanks.

    I just want to do a little bump here, in fact, I think I remember seeing a WSO once where they had some pre-written email sequence for you (that you could change up a bit of course), coupled with various things that you could promote along the way in the email sequence... so all that was left for you was to drive traffic to your squeeze page. Anyone know of anything like this?

      Go buy an IM MRR product and you will most likely get a squeeze page, sales page, and download page, as well as a free report version (if not just copy out the first chapter or something to a free report), they also sometimes have autoresponder followup's included. just find a Master Resale Rights product that offers all of what you need, then throw it on your host.

      That's the easiest way you're going to get what you want, a sales funnel in IM niche.

    as rich says above you can go and do that, its probably the fastest way to start building a list in the IM niche

    but if you want to do it all yourself then you are going to have to put a fair bit of time into creating a free report, a product, put together a basic sales funnel

    its not that difficult but it wont happen overnight so be patient

    what ever you do though make sure you give away some very good value as your free offer, rather than the same drivel which most people give away

    if you have the mindset of giving away something which you could quite easily charge for then this will do wonders for building trust and credibility with your subs right off the bat

    oh yes Paul, I see! Small world huh

    Yes I am working with my partner to make a whole range of products in our niche that we can market online.

    The only problem I have is that I will be sending the traffic to an authority style blog site with loads of articles and stuff... with the opt in on the home page with the Freebie promoted there which is not the same as a squeeze page

    unless I can work it out another way (but the site is already built and optimised and ranking in Google so why mess around, just get more traffic and see if I can convert). it's a long term thing anyway in an evergreen niche so I can take my time

      In my view, you can actually write a report of 7 to 10 pages, convert it to PDF format and you have your product. You can do this in a day if you know something on your topic of interest. If you don't know anything, get some free plr on the topic and rewrite it in your own words, making it your own and you have your product.

      Failing that, find someone in the niche you want to attack and interview them. Record it and you have an instant product worth $$$$. Give that away and you will surely get subscribers.

      In your funnel add OTO's of MRR products and you can make your money that way.

      Building a funnel should take a newbie just a couple days so I would say that you could actually have your product, sales funnel and list ready to be built in as short as a week.
