Like you know The drawing game that became the world's top app in just seven weeks... and now the company that made it is sold for $180million.

I bought the domain drawsomethingapp.net he has 8,100 exact match.

Any ideas how i can convert it to make money?

Draw Something is trademarked by OMGPOP, so before even thinking of doing anything with that domain I'd make sure that you aren't about to break any laws by using it.

What is diffident between The Best of Draw Something and draw something app? I don't see any violating trademark here.

Are you a lawyer though, experienced in trademark disputes?

You should build a simple site and make it about downloading that App. Who is going to tell you that's wrong or illegal? I mean if they wanted to they could contact you and make problems cuz of the trademark name. But in the mean while you can build the page, you can even sell it on Flippa for a lot of money. The people there know how valuable a domain name related to a hot trending product is, you will sell it right away. but make sure you work on the site a little first. This is what I would do, of course you can do what you want, SEO for the site will be the best way to monetize it!

I wouldn't do anything at all with it. Obvious trademark infringement and not worth the trouble.

I went to United States Patent and Trademark Office and made trademark search "draw something app" and found nothing. Is it mean i am safe?

No ... it doesn't mean that at all. It means that you cannot use Draw Something, whether you put other words around it or not unless you use it in a completely different category than the trademark ... completely unrelated to the app. or game. Even in a different category, you'd likely face a challenge from the trademark owner.

Here are the trademarks for Draw Something, which I'm pretty sure you are still violating even though you added the word app to the end. Regardless, check with an attorney. No one here can tell you for sure.

A company just spent 180 million dollars to buy that game. If you think they are not going to protect their intellectual property, I think you are being very naive. Now some companies will do nothing at all, which is very rare. Some companies will just send you a letter and request that you hand over the domain name. Now here is the worst possibility. They sue you for trademark infringement, then go after any profits you made over using that name, and they decide to make you into an example.

Since you are itching to do this, why dont you just go for it and let us know what happens. This could turn into a great case study about the impact of choosing your domain name.

      ... drum roll please.

And by doing that you have given them proof positive of bad faith registration and they would easily win a UDRP based on that.

Perfect example of why it's not a good idea to seek legal advice in a public forum full of marketers rather than lawyers. :p

Which is clearly a wonderful example about why you shouldn't be giving out legal advice here.

You can monetize it by simply using your site to affiliate with iTunes.
Selling apps and games in your site.
There are WSOs about this topic too.
