Does anyone know a good payment processor alternative to paypal?

I am opening an online business and need a payment processor.

I was banned from paypal and am too lazy to go create a new bank account just to possibly be banned again for no reason whatsoever.

I need the capability of a client to enter a credit card without making an account. I am going to send them a quote for X amount of dollars and they need to go to a site and pay it.

Does moneybookers support that? I don't want them singing up for anything.

I've been recommended to use AlertPay in the past, apparently they're more strict compared to Paypal. However it's still a good option.

Since all FIVE replies so far have mentioned AlertPay as their first suggestion (which I used to use myself), I hope nobody will mind my drawing attention to this post from attorney Brian Kindsvater on the subject: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5580761

A "payment processor" that can't process credit-card payments is of rather limited value.

But apparently this is terribly difficult to understand.

I think you should all pay attention to what Alexa say about using Alertpay as a payment processor.

To get more info on Online payment processor simply do a forum search using the keyword "online payment processor" and you will get lots of feedback from your search to answer your question. Hope this help?

I think some people are sleeping at the wheel.

I use authorize.net for my eCommerce sites, and have never had any problems. You can even setup several merchant accounts under authorize.net

Alertpay... They are going to change name since they have been taken over by another company, which should be good and give them more functionalities...

Just change your name and all your problems will go away!

If changes are made that will be good. But for now, lets mention companies that can actually process payments.

      ClickBank
      CCbill

      .

hey guys I actually am signed up for authorize.net already, but was just wondering if there was a cheaper alternative with less hoops to jump through.

I know authorize.net is rock solid reliable and highly professional with 0% chance of being dicked over like paypal - but it does cost quite a bit, and am in the setup phase which is tedious and takes a bunch of paperwork.

So anyone going to answer my question?

I specifically need a payment processor where the other party doesn't have to sign up. Can any of those above support that?

  • It looks like all of these alternatives are being considered from the side of the person using the service to buy things.

Do you know of anyone listing alternatives (and their pros/cons) as seen from the seller's side?

The one thing I find useful about PayPal - and I'm having trouble figuring out which competing services might offer this - is the ability to have non-PayPal clients pay using a credit card, without having to sign up with the service themselves.

  • Personally I have a great personal conection to a payment processor I've used for years. They let you accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex and no, your clients don't need to sign up with them. You can just accept their credit card. I like them a lot. PM me your name, email and the type of business your're in and I will be happy to make a personal email introduction.
