  • 1. Advertise to those who have a track record of buying (when possible);

    2. Advertise to those who have shown an interest in products like yours;

    3. Create pre-sell materials in the form of free reports and cheap reports ($5 to $30);

    4. Write an awesome sales page;

    5. Don't rely on Warriors to pay that price... Outside this community, people are more accustomed to paying higher prices.

    • You may think what I'm about to say is silly/obvious, but sometimes it is worth stating.

      Create a product that is worth $47. How do you know it is worth it? People buy it.

      During the course of selling my home, one agent I talked to said this: "Selling a house is easy. You either increase the value of the house until someone feels your asking price is equal to the condition of the house, or you lower the price of the house until someone feels the price equals the current condition of the house."

      Better yet, what I've learned so far is the importance of testing. Instead of focusing on $47, try this: Sell it for $47 for one month, then sell it for $37 for another month, then sell it for $57 for another month.

      Then look at your visitor/profit ratio.

      Let's suppose your results were this:

      12 at $47 = $564
      17 at $37 = $629
      8 at $67 = $536

      So now you know that based on your current sales copy, it looks $37 is your best price.

      But now you change the sales copy and try it again for 3 months with different pricing... this time...

      9 at $47 = $423
      22 at $37 = $814
      16 at $67 = $1072

      So now it looks like your new copy gives better results with $67. Had you started with $47 though, you actually dropped a bit.

      Of course, you need a large enough sample size to really determine how things are going and 50 or sales isn't really enough to really understand your trends.

      And finally, if you aren't seeing the results you want, add more value to the product!
