Website Flipping Question

Ok I have a question about flipping a website.

If i have a website I want to flip, and on the main page there is an opt-in form. and Iwere to sell the site, how would that affect my Aweber account? Or would it?

I guess what would happen is I would take my opt-in link away and it is up to the person buying the page to create their own Aweber account and create their own opt-in form right?

Because I only want to sell the website.

    You would most definitely take your optin form out, but to entice buyers, you could offer to input THEIR optin form for them for free.

    I guess I am going to answer my own question here.

    What I could do is to create a site without the opt-in form and flip that. And then Upsell the person on creating an Auto-responder for them.

    Maybe.

    Honestly, I don't think upselling a buyer of a website for autoresponder service would be very wise. That could work on someone who has no knowledge of IM, but probably not on someone who just bought a site because they were looking to monetize it or make a long term investment.

    A better way to make money after selling a site would be to offer the buyer a short (1-2 months) period of free hosting and then charge them a nominal (<$10) fee per month after that.
