Email Marketing Software that Doesn't Need Double Opt-in via API

Hi there fellow warriors

I'm now using Aweber but the problem is that they don't allow switch off double opt-in (compulsory subscription conformation) when you are not using their form but using API to add subscribers from 3rd party websites and applications

This is actually a very bad thing because I'm wasting my traffic - only around 40% of all subscribers DO confirm their emails - so I'm wasting 60% of my traffic

So do you guys know any Email Marketing tool that doesn't need a verification when used remotely via API?

Any suggestions are welcome

    I used Mailchimp before and back then I could choose single-optin.
    Now I use Email Marketer from Interspire, Shopping Cart Software | Ecommerce Software - Interspire

        Not really, specially as your list grows. But it's certainly more complex than Aweber and far more flexible.

    I used to be an Aweber fan but because of their strict rules with double options and also importing other lists without confirming, I have switched accounts and I am using now Getresponse for 6 months and I am very happy with them.

    If you speak to their compliance department, they even allow you to upload your Aweber list to their get response system without the confirming option.

    Also Getresponse customer service rocks!!

    Aweber allows for single opt in.. If you do it right. and honestly if your doing something shady to collect peoples information you better watch out just saying. Make sure you go over the laws and regulations before you try your idea it could end up costing you.

    Aweber allows for single opt-in. But Getresponse is flexible too. Best thing about these 2 are the price.

      You know something, I found a nice free wordpress plugin that handles all my optin and mailings. No need to pay for aweber, getresponse, or mailchimp. I dont have to worry about a limited amount of subscribers. The only catch is it is just one list per site, but I am sure the plugin can be modded. Heck why pay a third party?

    RamonvanMeer's suggestion, Interspire's Email Marketer is great. Interspire is the most powerful and flexible platform mentioned here.

    Depending on your list size you can link Interspire to different delivery engines like Port 25's Power MTA. This gets more into hardcore email marketing.

    My concern and question pertains to delivery. I have not come across any solid data showing delivery rates and inbox rates across platforms.

    Ultimately it would depend on the specific SMTP reputation of the platform your on. more specifically the IP address of the specific server your on.


    You can also try Infusionsoft or Office Autopilot.
    Both platforms have a broad scope of features in addition to email. It's good and bad depending on what you want. I had infusionsoft and between the two, I would select Office Autopilot.
