How can I make money online?

Seriously... this question had been discuss hundred times. search forum first before asking the same question.

do something creative on fiverr, it is very hard to just "make money online" its either you take it seriouslt or either you leave it and get a summer job.

however if you are creative you can make some serious money on fiverr, i know people offering all kinds of kinky stuff and they are earnings over 4k a month.

This is all I saw in the first part. I think you'd enjoy your summer a lot more if you just pulled out your XB360 and played L4D2 all summer. (I'm assuming you're too broke to afford a newer game. )

Go on fiverr.com and post up jobs. One job a day = $5/day.

Welcome to the forum. Being that you said you're lazy, you probably want something that generates residual income and allows you to work when you want to, right? I suggest you try blogging. That's something you can even continue when you start back to school. The only two real criteria are that you choose a niche that's profitable and one you have an interest in. It also helps if you know a little something about your topic. It just makes it easier to come up with content. You're also more likely to stick with it.

The reason why there are so many questions of " where should i start " regarding online marketing , is because when people come to forums like this, they think that people who are participating in this forum already know what to do and they make money online for their living.
And that they only discuss better techniques and "secrets".

dude, are you serious ... you are putting yourself as lazy and not willing to work, if you really want to focus and build your business do not atleast put it out like this in the forum as it will not do you good in the long run . I know you may not like the comments, but portray yourself positively and then asking for advice will get you a lots..

In case you will be back and got the chance to read all the posts from fellow warriors including mine, here is my suggestion - go for passive income! It can be through adsense, promoting clickbank or amazon products, and all sorts. Let me warn you. Even though it's more of a passive income you need to work smart. There is no room in being lazy here. You need to spend few hours of your time daily to start up, using trial and error method (mixture of several IM and SEO techniques) and see money coming in months or years.

If you do nothing, nothing happens. Rome wasn't build in a day and neither was Coca-Cola. Is it really laziness or is it fear holding you back?

IM CAN be very confusing and overwhelming. Believe me, I know! Been there, done that.

Clarity is a HUGE part of IM success. I hope this post brings some clarity. It's so simple when you know it -- and darn difficult when you don't! I owe my mentors a world of thanks for bringing this clarity.

IM is actually pretty simple: you can sell only one of two things:

1. Products
2. Services

That's it!

And selling products or services online happens in the same basic way for everyone, no matter what they're selling:

Traffic > Opt-in page > Autoresponder series (or e-zine) > Sales page

That's it! It's just that simple. (We IMers tend to overcomplicate things.)

But no matter what your niche is, or whether you're selling a product or a service, do you know what your business model is?

A business model is the framework or skeleton of your business. Essentially there are three types of online business models:

1. Membership-based model

A membership-based business model allows you to build a community of people (your members) who are as passionate about your subject as you are. Your membership fees can be monthly or annual, but either way, you're building recurring, passive income.

There are a lot of resources and information out there to help you build a membership-based business if you're interested in doing this.

2. Product-based model

Selling products allows you to maximize your time and effort by selling items over and over again. This can be hard goods or it can be information products. Information marketing is it's own business model under the product-based model. Information marketing allows you to take your brain to the bank by creating a product ONCE based on what you know and selling it over and over again.

Affiliate marketing falls under both models. You can choose to market either products or services as an affiliate.

3. Service-based model

Selling services can be great for 1) generating quick cash (as in the case of article writing or video producing) and 2) establishing your expertise and getting testimonials.

However, in the long run, your goal should be to offer services at a PREMIUM. The biggest advantage of IM is LEVERAGE. You're able to leverage your time, money and expertise exponentially online. We all have just 24 hours each day. Time to get ruthless about what you expect for those hours you spend in IM each day. Expect more of yourself and more from your business friends, clients, partners, etc.

What results are you getting for those hours you spend online each day? Ultimately, your services should be at the bottom of your funnel and cost the most since they involve your time and personal attention. (We all have a limited amount of time each day.)

The fun (and confusion) comes in with all of the endless mix-and-match possibilities of the above models. If you're just starting or still struggling to make money, keep it simple:

Pick just ONE!

1. Pick ONE niche. (Something you're interested in and know something about.)

2. Pick ONE target market for your product or service. (Who will buy what you're offering? The more specific you are, the more you narrow it down, the more successful you'll be.)

3. Pick ONE business model.

Now that you're clear about what business you're in, FOCUS! (And stop buying any info not related to your niche and target market, period!)

O -- One
C -- Course
U -- Until
S -- Successful

And remember: build a list, Build a List, BUILD A LIST!

In IM, it's easy to put the cart before the horse. Take a deep breath, step back and consider what type of business you're REALLY want. Don't worry about getting traffic or buying that expensive traffic product until you know 1) what your business model is, 2) what niche you're in and 3) WHO your target market is!

Successful business people will tell you that MARKETING is more than half the effort that's needed for success anyway. So pick a niche, target market and business model. Then spend most of your time and effort marketing it.

If you DON'T have a solid plan or system, THAT'S when it's hard. A good system will shave YEARS (and save you big $$$) off of your learning curve

That's why I recommend investing in at least one good, comprehensive IM course (or mentor who will give you such a system) instead of jumping from one $37 e-book to the next. A lot of people here complain about not being able to make any money. But neither are they willing to invest in their business. (Buying a random bunch of $37 e-books doesn't count.)

The best thing I ever did was invest in a comprehensive IM course aimed at REAL business owners, not just other IM wannabes. Yes it was $1500. (It's no longer available.) But it was truly some of the best A-Z IM info I ever bought. Everything else I've learned (from the $37 e-books) since has simply been plugged into this system.

Get a solid plan or system and then work the plan!

You should start with ebay. Hopefully you're not too lazy to ship items off at the post office everyday. Even the laziest of the lazy make good money on ebay. Trust me, i would know.

Nothing is easy in life ..!! to make online money you have to work really hard to achieve your goal ..!!

Nothing comes easy my friend, you'll find that it takes just as much effore to make 50 dollars a day as it does to make 500 dollars a day.

You're going to have to work hard no matter what. The key is to pick one thing and then stick to it. And if it doesn't work find someone else who is already successful at it to teach you.

Making money online is Simple but not easy.

Do research in the forums with ways on how to do this. Some brilliant advise has already been given to you from WF users so grab this information while you can and start working on it. If your slightly lazy though then you will need to change your mind set or you might not make a penny.
What are your interests? Your talents? focus on those.

I think a lot of people have this question in mind. :-)
What I would really like to say is that if you want to make money so bad...you should give up laziness :-) This is what kills every plan you might have for the future.
I know little about the subject, but I am here to find out more. So I keep searching and keep asking.

Easy ways to start making money online include Fiverr, but the big "secret" which even some of the paid courses don't tell you, is that you'll make oney much more easily replying to the "Wanted"s there, with a custom gig giving them exactly what they want, than if you just put up your own gigs and hope people find you.

There are plenty of other free methods which make more of a residual income (less at first, but more money for your work in the long-term), such as creating Squidoo lenses, etc. which is easy enough as they monetize automatically for you (all you need is a PayPal account).

The easiest way to make money online (fast) is to build several micro-niche sites targeted to a specific keyword. See my signature below for the one course I found that really delivers the goods (no affiliate link)...

Eg, u want a punch, u punch other ppl. you wan people to treat you good, u treat other good.

So if you want earn money, u have to put in time or money into it. Commitment and action is important!!

Internet marketing should be a long term thing in your mind. This is not a summer J-O-B.
This is something that takes effort, time and money.
I do have an easy solution (my signature).
My project is mostly for marketers that just want some extra money on the side (the first 5 and then 15 of course get more than just "some")
But my project also allows marketers to take control of their income on top of me building power legs for them.
It is just a thought..you may want to look into it. But unless you take action in the project, you will not be making $5 a day right away.
HOWEVER especially for the firs 5, in time (planning on by december) this will turn into $5,000 extra per month.

To make money online, try selling on ebay. If you do not have anything to sell, offer to help neighbors and friends to list and sell their extra items. Then charge a commission for your services. This way you can just sit all day, take photos of items and list on ebay. Just be sure you give great details on the items you are listing and mention any chips, scratches or other things so the buyer is aware of it and does not leave you negative feed back.

Another idea is if you are good at researching offer collage students a service for researching info for term papers.

They have so many ways to make money online its crazy but I know what your going thru you just need to look into sites like ebay or sites like fiverr.

I've been making money online for over 6 years with free sites. It's been a great niche for me.

You can make money online by selling photos to various microstock agencies. You just need a camera with a minimum resolution of 6MP.

Do you have any idea how many teens/students with a bit of time on their hands say that they want to make money online, but that they are lazy and don't really want to do anything and don't want to take the time to learn new skills?

Fiverr seems like it would be a good start for a lot of people, but you need to be ORIGINAL. The people I see making money on there all have original concepts and they sell themselves really well.

Here's an idea. Stop being lazy How much do you have to invest? What are your strengths? Do you want to use free or paid traffic? What niches or verticals are you interested in promoting?
