I have 10 blogs should i make 90 more?

So i have 10 blogs... not making much money

maybe $0.01-$1 a day from adsense.

However if i was to have 100 blogs in total bringing in around $0.10 a day... i will make $10 a day.

I have tried backlink all my sites... doing them manually and all that but nothing seems to gain traffic. I just post good content that people search for and hope they find me... which they do

what would you advise... i tried working on just 1 website but then what if its traffic drops?

I plan to just sit in my room and blog non stop for like 20 hours writing good quality articles then starting more websites.

constructive criticism please?

You're on the right track, but I think you need a little guidance. Here are a few questions that I'm going to ask since I can't see your sites:
    1. Are your ads the right format?
    2. Are your ads in the right place?
    3. What's your kw density?
    4. How did you find your keywords?
    5. Does your site have proper internal SEO?
    6. What kind of backlinks are you using?
    7. Do you have any EDU/GOV blogs?
I have more questions, but let's see the answers to those first.

I have tested many ads and ad positions and i see which works best of course i am still testing these methods but judging by the top earning adsense sites i tend to copy them. eg.. putting ads inside the post as opposed to them being hidden away in the corner.

keyword density? ermmmm i tend to just write what i feel, thats entertaining to read rather than making sure i have the right amount of keywords.

I am using wordpress for most of my sites and use some seo plugins.

I use blog comment backlinks. Also social booking sites. But i tend to link my sites altogether as well.

no .gov or .edu sites though! how can i get one
mainly my sites are what im passionate about...

      -religion
      -money
      -random sites

That's fantastic, but not when you're doing SEO. Modify your posts so that you shoot for 1%-2% kw density.

I am using wordpress for most of my sites and use some seo plugins.
Sure, they're installed, but do you actually know how to use them?

I use blog comment backlinks. Also social booking sites. But i tend to link my sites altogether as well.
Bad. Bad. Bad. Unchain your sites and keep them all free-standing.

Use variations of this search string:

        Code:
        site:.edu "keyword"
You're obviously going to replace "keyword" with your keyword.

        -law
        -religion
        -money
        -random sites
You need to specifically target something, or else create a TON of posts on your site...I'm talking hundreds...before you naturally start attracting visitors.

Keyword density has absolutely no effect on what ranks and what doesn't rank. That's so....1999...

Wordpress straight out of the box is pretty optimized. If you want to use SEO plugins, do it but you don't have to.

What you need to do is watch your content infrastructure, title tags, and inlinking. Those play a much bigger factor as far as onsite optimization goes.

I would spend more time finding valuable links and networking with people who own websites in your market for links than trying this approach. For one, your strategies are low end on the value scale in the eyes of search and therefore, you will need volumes of them.

For another, as your website ages, your pages will start to bubble up to the top naturally (not all the way to the top but will move up) for long tail keywords that you will likely not even be aware that they would rank for.

The problem with backlinking in a blanketing kind of fashion is the minute that google changes the rules, your pages will lose rankings.

    Terrible plan. Listen.

The more overhead you build, the more work you will have to do. The less overhead you have, the more you can focus your efforts on 1-2 things that work.

Given the fact that you are relying on a 3rd party (will google rank me for my keywords and (just as important) once I rank, will they continue to rank me), you are setting yourself up for a crash.

A better option would be to find a niche that is working for you....set up a way to capture email (so that you will be able to float along even if google pulls the plug on you) and write enough content to make the website look active.

Then spend the rest of your time developing ways that will get your market to notice your website and improve your conversion rates by testing.

100 blogs is a lot of time wasted when you should be focusing on the things that will make you money right now.

    Just my 2 cents.

The only way to find if it's the right IM strategy for you is doing it, but what do you think about testing simpler strategies first? Like having 10 blogs bringing $1 a day each (if your goal is $10/day).

If these are things you are passionate about and can write good content, it's won't be that hard to make $1 a day from 10 quality content, updated, blogs. Quality content isn't everything, but helps a lot.

Think about the cost of domains and hosting for 100 websites vs 10 websites. And you may be surprised when your 10 websites begin to make $2 a day. =D.

Just my 2 cents. Do what you see as a more enjoyable experience.

Absolute awful plan IMO. So you're going to spend 20 hours a day writing content to build 100 sites in the hope of making $300 a month? That sounds like a hell of a lot of work with an end goal of $300.

How many articles are you going to write for each website? If you write 5 posts for each website, that's 500 articles. A simpler approach (but still not a great one) would be to write 100 posts for 5 blogs. With the longtail keywords within 100 articles you would get quite a bit of traffic. Not to mention the traffic from article directories and document sharing sites when you submit 500 articles to them.

Surely you would earn more than $300 a month from this strategy.

Take Ldimilo's advice above and look to scale all this down to 1 website. Write 100 articles and spend the rest of your time participating in forums, social media sites and anywhere else your customers are. I find it VERY difficult to believe you will be providing value to your readers in 100 different niches. I doubt very much if you're that knowledgeable.

Welcome to the high failure rate end if internet marketing.

It is better to focus on the sites you have on hand rather spending money and precious time on building other new sites. Here people will help you lot, take a good guidance that suits your blog or approach a successful web masters.

make money from Adsense...but at the same time.. build list too... capture people email addresses by providing them something of a value for FREE. Build a relationship with them and later you can promote them your affiliate products to earn some good quick money.

Having a list is must if you wana succeed in the long term. Google is very unpredictable, but even if you lose your rankings or visitors in future, you will still have list to make money out of it.

Aweber is the best autoresponder that helps you to build your list and its just 1$ for the first month. You can also try Listwire if you don't wana spend any money on a auto responder.

    Hope it helps!

This will be a weird decision. You will not be able to update all your blogs regularly. There will be a lot of work for you. If you have 10 blogs, you can work on those 10. Update your blogs regularly. Visitors will find you. Also, to earn from adsense, you will have to follow some steps like placing ads in right place. Combine the color with the webpage template etc.

Dont make more than 5 blog posts per day. There are other ways to make money and drive traffic to your blog. I personally would only manage 1 site. Gain blog subscribers, get them coming back to your blog, clicking on your adsense ads, and participate with them when they comment on your blog posts.

Sounds like an awful lot of work for $10/day. You will probably end up finding yourself overwhelmed keeping up with 100 blogs and when that happens, then what? You're stuck with a bunch of blogs that you don't update any longer because it's just so much work. At $10/day income, it's not like you could do a lot of outsourcing.

You need to focus and drill down on more profitable niches that bring you in $10/day per blog at a bare minimum.

Focus on Health, Wealth and Relationships (the big 3). Drill down to niches in one of those verticals and you will do well.

Shoot for at least 1,500 exact searches per month per keyword. Good Luck!

All this good advice, and no one has asked you what your backup plan is if/when your Adsense account is closed?

100 blogs means 100 chances that one of them will be deemed "a risk to Google's advertisers". When that happens, you lose the income from all 100, and any you might put up in the future. And the "risk" doesn't even have to trace back to something you did wrong.

      So I'll ask...

      What's your Plan B?

Instead of 100 blogs, why not focus on your current blogs that you think have a high potential and write 100 articles for that blog, covering a variety of topics in the niche?

I just want to say thank to each and every one of you who posted here! i read every post and i think the advice given is unreal and so true!
No where in the on the web will you get this much free advice then the warrior forum! i've only just found this forum after 3 years of website ownership.

Ok im going to stick with 10 blogs. thats my plan. and god forbid i lose my adsense account for some reason.. ill just put on another advertiser. but im very good to sticking to adsense terms of service. I dont just blog for the money so i want but its an incentive to blog more otherwise i would of left blogging a while ago i think.

I also have websites that aren't making money from adsense. a few of them in fact adsense is just one source or income. I do affiliate marketing and drop shipping to.

I prefer blogging as its pretty much automatic income once you get going.

I did have a blog that was ranking in $5-$15 per day but i made a mistake on it and it got blacklisted.
So im looking to get back to that. and who knows i may get $15 per day on each website :O

You need to fully optimize your current blogs now so they can start earning more. Just like what JaRyCu has listed.

Once you feel that they are earning to their full potential then you should start building more blogs.

EACH blog should be earning between $1.00 or more a day. $10.00/day from 100 blogs isn't a lot, you should be getting $100+ a day from that amount of blogs.

As many people have said I think that you need to first focus on how to make each blog make more money each day rather than just sticking to low profit blogs and lots of them. That will just create more work for you with almost no results.

Are they hitting the same long tail cluster or is the keyword theme for each deep enough to allow you to get enough traffic for each blog?

Are you going to be using exact match domains?

Why not try optimizing each blog and get a PROVEN FORMULA for getting clicks and traffic for your targeted niches then branching them out?

Don't create a huge blog network immediately. I learned that the hard way. One of my blogs was making $50 a day and I got greedy and made 34 more other blogs but they are thin. The thinking was all of them would be as successful as the first. Bad move. You have to strip down the first and apply the lessons to the rest of the network. The good news is I sold the network for some fat $$$.

So learn from my experience. Focus on the 10 first. Optimize their ability to get clicks and traffic. Then replicate slowly to build out a network.
