WSO Problem: Video Shows Up As Link In New Thread?

I'm trying to post a new WSO thread with a YouTube video in it and it keeps turning into a link.

I have it working in the test forum just fine.

What's the dillio?

    This is before you actually post the thread, right?

    It will show up as a link when you are editing, but once the thread actually goes live, it will show up as a video.

    At least that's how I remember it happening!

    Yep, just checked.

    That's the way it works. It will show up as a video once it actually goes live. It just shows up as a link in preview mode before you submit the thread. Works the same way in the Test forum, by the way. When you preview it, still shows as a link. Submit the test thread, that's when you see it live.

    So you won't actually see the video embedded on your WSO thread until you pay for it to go live.
