This is my 100th post!

I'm not one to hype up over a mere 100 posts, but I rarely post 100 times on any forum. I'm an information seeker more than a participant, so if I find the info I need without posting, that's cool. If I have to post, it's to ask a few questions, get my answers, and off I go. There are very few forums where I exceed even 20 posts; and those are pretty much ones that I own or administrate.

Warrior Forum is different, though, because I've chosen this site as my home base for IM learning and living. I came here to launch a WSO, even though I had no clue what that really meant or what it involved. George Brown did it with Google Sniper, so why not do what he did? After all, look where he is now! ....but soon after registering here I could see that it wasn't as simple as that. I did quite a bit of reading before posting my first post, and knew two things right away:
  1. Here are some serious, thinking Internet Marketers that I can learn valuable lessons from.
  2. I'm a long way from launching a WSO!
At first, I wasn't sure I could contribute anything useful to such a collection of already solid posts and experience. I needed 50 posts to be able to use private messaging. How was I ever going to do 50 posts?? So I decided to just take my time, and be sure to post something when I felt it might be useful or interesting. And here I am at 100!

I joined on August 1st. Since then I have JV'd with a fellow warrior, and we're about to launch a product that we expect to do well. I'm also working with another warrior on another project that will bring in some cash for reinvestment and paying bills. This is awesome, and speaks well of the WF all around! And I just wanted to post this as my 100th post because, even though it's a small milestone, it's one that rarely happens with me; and having something to show for it is even more rare!

There's a long way to go, but this time around it feels much more likely to happen. Finally!

Not just yet. I'm going to see how the two ventures go in the next week or two, and then I'll have something to blog about. Even if things don't go as well as expected, I can blog about that, and what I learned from it.

  • Lol Brilliant and well done Joel. I likewise have not got even close to my post count on WF on any other forum.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Congratulation!
Would you be able to share how you got JV partners in such a short time?

I was approached by both parties to work with them. They PM'd me with the offer, we discussed the details, and it was a good fit all around.

Be aware, though, that it's not a case of jumping on the first boat that came along. Before agreeing to work with these people I made sure they were solid, with a good rep, and experienced in what they're doing. Not only their rep in the WF, but Google can reveal a lot, too. Due diligence is key!

But in short, I got lucky.
