First off, IM is not a magic pill. You cannot just enter it and hope to exit with an easy thousand dollars. Everyone who succeeded in this field have paid the hard work to study and try things out until they find a method that works for them. So I don't suggest that you go this path if you badly need money. A job will serve you better.

With that said, I know that you don't want to give up. If you still want to continue with the search, I suggest you stick to the forum and stop the urge to buy some stuff. There are lots of posts here and in the War Room that can help you make the 'seeds' that you needed. There are plenty of methods that go around because each method is not for everyone. What may work for one person may not work for another person. Keep on learning and you'll get there.

Start Building a list and promote it. Get a squeeze page and sales funnel and start getting targeted traffic to it. Follow your audience! Provide quality content! Bingo!

You have to do the work - so research list building and sales funnels then get the basics in place - over time it will make you money for very little outlay.

Dude 6 different methods in 4 months?


How can you expect to succeed if you aren't even giving yourself enough time to at least learn the basics of just one of those methods, not even mentioning six altogether.


I know it sounds cliche, but you have to choose one method and stick with it.



Ok, I am confused, you spend $31 on ebooks and PPC? Or just $31 total on ebooks?

If it was $31 on ebooks and PPC I don't think that is really enough to test your campaigns to even see if they were working or not.

Full commitment doesn't have to mean that you spend ALL your time outside of school on making money online and sacrificing everything else in your life.

It's not so much about the time you spend as it is about the focus you give to your efforts.

For example someone could spend 8 hours a day on making money online but in that 8 hours if they are only giving it 50% - 60% focus their chances of success are probably not that great.

But another person could spend 1-2 hours a day and give it 100% of their focus and attention and have way better success than the 8 hour person.

So, even if you have other commitments and you want to make money, then it's up to you to decide what you give priority to.

And it's up to you how much focus you are going to give making money online when you are doing those tasks.

One othere thing to remember is that there are many, many examples of poeple who are in college and at the same time are working a part time job and still have time to have a life.

These people are really good at managing their time.


A big part of the reason that you might be having trouble understanding the techniques might be because you are moving too fast from one method to another, and then another without taking the time to learn the basics first.

Internet Marketing as simple as that but people overcomplicate things.

So read what she has written, choose one of those 3 business models, and stick with it!

When I first started I used YouTube to learn IM. I would say learn and test some FREE methods, I did find a few gems that worked.

But honestly while I found some methods that worked, what I was really doing was trying to find somebody that I can trust and would teach me correctly.

...And really that is my advice - find a coach/mentor (not sure how much money you can invest at this point) that you can learn from, so you can start seeing success.

You can offer it as a service here, on your site, microworkers, fiverr, elance and the likes.

You have to stop jumping around and make a decision of what your plan will be. Just imagine if you would of stuck with something from day one. You would of been focused on succeeding with one thing no matter what. Its going to require YOU making a decision to stand behind something and sticking with it. Nobody can make that decision for you.

Keep working on it, and use free tactics for making sales. Can eventually become a large source of sales and traffic for you. Don't bet the farm on advertising... be very selective.

Here's something you can test out and could probably help you learn to recognize both online and offline opportunities as well as some creative concepts to combine these offline and online strategies. I'm not a big fan of earning money from short term ventures, since I prefer to advise formulating long term sustainable business plans, but here goes:

You're in a university. This presents you with an entire school to market to. Now, what do most of them want?

I assume a lot of them could most likely want cool gadgets and gizmos, such as the latest mobile phones and laptops among others. So, why not:

Set up a website that exclusively targets your university. Select a set of CPA email and/or ZIP submit ad offers with qualifications that match your target market (university students and staff, their social networks and people around your university), which can give them discount offers and freebies or rewards among other incentives related to the gadgets and gizmos they want. Then:

Post content pages that provide more detailed info about those discount offers, freebies and incentives/rewards, and include pieces of advice and step by step guides in those posts so readers can quickly and conveniently get those discount offers, freebies, rewards, etc. Next:

Post a squeeze page saying that all university students and staff can exclusively sign up to your mailing list so they can receive updated discount offers, freebies and rewards among other things that could help them get the cool gadgets and gizmos they want. Set up a series of emails that promote those CPA email and/or ZIP submit ads. Then:

Register a new Facebook account with a Fan page that exclusively targets these university students and staff. Design the Fan page so it will match the design of your site. Next:

Set up Facebook PPC ads that exclusively target these university students and staff. Print out flyers and brochures. Give away those brochures and flyers in heavily trafficked places within and around your university. Going to university student and staff departments/organizations/groups to give away those flyers and brochures will also be helpful. If you don't have time to do this, hire a student who'll gladly do this for you. You can even negotiate a deal with this student where he or she can earn a fixed percentage of your total monthly net profits.

That's it. I believe this is more than just a short term venture, since you'll be building a mailing list of targeted prospects and buyers, whom you can constantly help by giving away useful content and promoting CPA offers, freebies, rewards and affiliate products that can solve and satisfy their problems and needs that they can neither solve nor satisfy on their own.
