List Building Question...!

Hello There ....

Let's say you invest all efforts in building a list (One of the most important thing in IM) And you promoting a very particular product in your niche. for example: a acne treatment product that in the health niche. You build a squeeze page, you capture emails, you build a good relationship, and you sell.

The list you've built contains only people with acne problems, you give them a reason to sign...you sell them...they happy...THEN WHAT?

What more can i do with a used List.
(of course that i can still sell for new subscribers, the issue is about the used)

    You keep marketing to them! Keep them engaged with good information, sure some will buy right away, but many may not buy until a month or more down the road, and a nice little percentage may buy more than once!

    It's a lot more complex than you make it out to be... of course you can also cross promote and sell other products to them "outside" of the acne niche (dating offers come to mind, video games etc... you have to try different things)

    He Who Finds A List Has Found A Good Thing. A good list is a gold mine, you can mine as many gold as possible, your list members will like you when you give them more useful information, when you recommend other quality product or service. The possibilities are endless.

    Think about the buyer's wants and needs. If they're in your list for acne problems, then I'm pretty sure they care about the way they look. Offer them products they would be interested in such as health and beauty.

    You go to Google keyword tool and type in anything related to acne and skin care. Compile a list of topics that match your target audiences interests and either create content to help them further, or create/promote products of the same kind. Ultimately what you really would do is NOT build a list on a shelf life problem like "acne."

    You should be learning how to "cross promote" in any niche you enter anyway. Just do some research.

    CHOOSE NICHE -> RESEARCH NICHE -> RESEARCH KEYWORDS -> FIND PRODUCTS -> FIND CROSS-PROMOTIONS -> CREATE CAMPAIGN

    You should build a good relationship with your subscriber.
    Send them useful information consistently.
    If they have question, you need to reply.
    Make sure the product you sell to them is useful.

    The main thing is the effectiveness of your niche. Two things you need to consider over here. First of all if it is effective then you can use it for your own purpose. On the other hand, if you want to sell that niche, you also get good rate.

    Acne problems are simply a super targetted niche in two larger niches - Health, and Beauty.

    You can follow up your promotions on the acne product with other advice on looking good, caring for your body and health. Once you have done this for a while, both the health and the beauty niches are open to you to promote to your list. They will happily accept mails on either.

    Make sure the relationship you build with the list takes them on a journey - a story, which leads them to where you want them to be. You can't just promote a fitness product to somebody who signed up for an acne cream info - but after several months of careful follow up messages - you sure can send that promotion!

    Are you passionate about cures for acne, or just the money you can make by promoting acne products?

    If it's the later then chances are that you will struggle to build up a relationship, after all once they've bought the product you're promoting why should you care if they still have spots?

    If it's the former, you should be spending time finding out about the latest advances in acne treatment and writing reviews on the different spot creams or fad techniques being used to cleanse skin.

    Create a facebook group, write a blog, and just generally show your passion. Then when you can push a product or even better create your own these fans will buy from you.

    Keep good relationship with your list by sending them short articles or info that related to their interest periodically. Research some stuffs that related to the niche, digital or physical, and sell it to them. You can find many products to sell by being an affiliate for Clickbank or Amazon.
