Free Video Intro. Maker Site - It's awesome!

Warriors, I'm hoping someone can help.

I recently learned of a VERY cool site that allows you to create short 10-30 video intro's from a bunch of templates and let's you download them for free. The kind you'd see that were typically made with After Effects, but created online with no editing. You just enter the necessary text and it creates the intro. Anyone know the URL?

I either bookmarked it and the title tag isn't relevant (possible), or I wasn't smart enough to bookmark it (probable).

    • I saved the link also. Haven't joined yet, but has anyone read the Terms to use the free and basic versions to see if either of those allow a commercial use?

  • Thanks man! Loved the site!
  • Thank you Gail, awesome share. I love it
  • Cool, thanks for sharing this. I was searching on fiverr and other places for this and its right here for free.

    • Well, the ripples of this post keep on spreading! I found this when I googled free intro videos or something like that. I just couldn't find a fiverr person that had the look that I wanted so I wanted to try my hand at doing it myself. It's almost as easy as having fiverr do it and I got it right away and I was able to make it in the image that I had in my mind

As they say in the movies, no muss, no fuss, no cuss.

  • Was just playing around with it, video seems to take forever to render, 10 min and counting?
  • Thanks, Gail - love this!

  • Thanks for sharing this.

I have been using animoto which is great too but this seems like it has less limitations than animoto.

    Thanks
  • Just what I have been looking for, great share.
  • Freemake.com can also be used with flixpress.com to create quality videos. Don't forget to donate few dollars to activate very nice features.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks

  • I have a question about Flixpress. Say you put one of these video templates on Youtube - would YT treat it entirely as an original video, or would it generate any "static" in the line of ranking or hosting issues? Same question for Fiverr, which tends to want original promotion for each individual gig. Any notions about this?
  • Thank you for the info. The first I have heard of it. Certainly worth checking out.
  • Awesoooooooommeeee feeling all giggly right now. This is killer guys, thank you. We can save money on this. And for noobs like me who are just starting to make a few bucks online, this is really helpful.
  • This has to be one of the best finds yet, thanks to the OP.

    Saved me a bundle!
  • Can you add a voice over to the video?

    • Yes, they come in MP4 so you use Movie Maker or other Video editors to add audio.

  • Well, this thread is almost a year old...

But here is another similar service...

Animoto - Make & Share Beautiful Videos Online

    • Actually when I clicked on this thread, that's what I thought it would be about: Animoto. It's nice to see there's yet another free video maker out there, though it's only useful if you just need short videos.

Thanks to the member who found flixpress. I personally use Pro Show, but of course that costs money, and it's nice to see something like flixpress. Still, I can see why it's offered for free because there's an upsell to the paid versions where you can do more.
  • This is awesome. Thanks
  • Another video maker site that launched recently (full disclosure: I know the founder) is Video Rascal they specialize in kinetic typography videos and may be of interest to people.
  • Thanks Gail_Curran, It's awesome. Love it

  • wow, wideo is a nice site! Thanks pal
  • thanks for share this site is just Awesome.
  • Great thread folks .. I can add PowToon, free business presentation software animated video maker and PowerPoint alternative as a great resource too

    enjoy and keep 'em coming...
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • The Flixpress site in the OP looks like a great site but I donʻt see where itʻs free. Am I missing the link?

Iʻve used ProShowWeb and itʻs pretty good but itʻs $25 a month unless you find a discount code for $20 a month- Google it! Itʻs a lower level of use and the templates are cool but better for personal use than biz unless you upgrade to the top level.

    • Another online tool for creating videos based on After Effects templates is:

      MakeWebVideo.com

It is free to create a preview video, but to download the video you have to pay for the Full HD version... So it is not free but the quality is much better. It is more for creating explainer videos and similar longer videos. Actually for these type of business videos, I couldn't find another option.
  • This is a great topic and all very good sites to use!
My question, is there a good program to download, that you can create your own 'unique' videos easily. - One that has built-in effects, etc.

  • Great advice. But is anyone aware of software that identifies if a website has a video on it. eg identifies if dentists in sydney has an introduction video on it.
    Regards
