Hello,

If I had to invest $500 then I would hire one professional writer to right viral high quality articles and post them on one of the best article directories. All these posts must have link back to your squeeze page. You can also create a blog with viral content! It is better to have 1 great article than have 100 useless!! As you know I would invest more in traffic!

Agreed! Plus backlinks from article directories are pretty useless for SEO and direct traffic. You should also never post articles on article directories until you have used them on your own sites first and had them indexed.

The real value comes in when people start to syndicate your articles but always make sure you maximize the use you get out of your content.

As it happens I do have over $600 which I plan on investing on PPC advertising. I will be sending paid traffic to an amazon affiliate website. So I will also have to pay for hosting and a domain.

I feel confident that this plan will work. I will reinvest 50% of profits into more advertising.

I would use it bit by bit to buy solo ads to send to a lead capture page followed by mini One Time Offer sales funnel or affiliate offer after sign-up.

And keep on testing and tweaking until I was consistently recouping that solo ads cost on the exact same day or within just a few days.

And then roll it out to larger ad packages and drive traffic to that offer over and over again.

I think that you should resist the urge to go out and blow the $500 on ads/course/domains/hosting etc...

I'd say go and hang in the forums for hot niches...such as mens health...pick a topic (ED, muscle building, fat loss), learn it and then build a domain/site that captures leads from that niche...then market to them via autoresponder.

Banner ad on high traffic blog to a nice converting optin page....with a good funnel.

You do not even need $500 for you to get started on this, and you will see good results even if you are crappy at writing copy, as the traffic would be very targeted.

Just think traffic >> offer >> funnel. That is what I would be doing, and spending most of the $500 to use PPC or media buys to get your nice targeted traffic.

Flight to Japan. Stock up on some PS3's, Xbox's, and Wii's... ship them overseas to the USA... profit on ebay.

I would do some quick PPC testing with $50 out of that $500 to see if a niche can be potentially profitable. If it's profitable, roll out with a site around the niche and takeover. Then run more ads and use your sales to fund more advertising ventures for the niche. Also do backend marketing to recoup your advertising loss (if there is any).

If it isn't profitable, dump the project and roll into a different niche and test again.

With no more information than that, I would keep in my account. You're probably not going to make money from buying "systems" that have income guarantees. If you're looking for magic buttons, you're mostly likely going to lose $500 rather than put it to good use.

You first need to do the research and decide for yourself what kind of online business you want to launch. Once you've decided that, you need a plan of action on how to make that business profitable. Research the forum and ask questions for free to help find answers.

Then and only then should you spend whatever money is necessary to implement your plan of action for your new business.

This isn't about throwing money at it and low and behold ... instant income. It's about doing the research and work required to build a business.

I have lots of $500 's )))) and they are all sitting in the bank. Sometimes I take them out and buy existing websites would good existing earnings and good potential. Then I sell them and get more $500's after the sites have grown as I expected they would.

I certainly would NOT go buying "a few WSOs". I don't know how anyone could recommend that without knowing your situation and specific WSOs or other courses that would help that situation.

One thing that may be helpful if you need help knowing how to get started and it only costs some brain cycles and time is to do a search (or sort) on the most viewed and/or most replied threads. You'll find a wealth of information there.

Don't spend a penny, though, until you have a basic plan and know which general direction you want to go.

I would take my trusty iPhone and go to a Walgreens store.

Once there, I would check the sales in the toy aisle and compare W.'s price to Amazon's. If the Amazon price is 3 times W.'s price or more, I would buy their entire stock of that toy. I would also check the clearance section for closeout toys. Occasionally the W. regular retail price is low enough to make a buy without waiting for a sale.

I'd keep doing this until I ran out of buying opportunities in that store or until I ran out of money. If the former, I'd move on to the next Walgreens.

When I got home I would list everything I bought on Amazon, box it up and ship it to FBA. Then I would wait for sales to roll in. Toys sell extremely well on Amazon, especially at this time of year.

I happen to like Walgreens as a source and have had good luck there, but other people make a full-time living doing this at different stores, like Target or Tuesday Morning.

Oh -- you wanted to know how to make money in IM with $500? Shucks, might as well go to Vegas.

To be more specific I would say try to earn money from free traffic.

It doesnt have to be google

There are many sites that has big volume of visitors and you can get from there traffic..

facebook, youtube, linkedin, tweeter, reddit, and much more.. in case you will be able to master only one kind of free traffic you will be on right way..

Think twice before you spend any money, you already puting your time, puting more money in wrong direction will help you to get faster the wrong way..

I would take that $500 and use it on pay per click. Now, just because I have that much to play around with, does not mean that I will spend it all or over bid others just to get my offer on page one.

I would start bidding really low. See what kind of traffic I get per day. If that traffic is really low then I know that I need to increase my bids by a few cents.

Repeat the process for a few days until the traffic numbers are OK. Also see if sales are coming in.

You got to start with low bids because you may get inspired to bid HIGH which will not help you out.

With a little over, I bought a DSLR camera (to make youtube videos), and I found someone to build be an app (for google only).

I think (if you have a catchy niche) that would be the best way.

If you can find a person to make your app look good and that is cheap. Also, if you don't mind being on camera.

It's all about getting products to market. You can do it yourself or you can promote other people's stuff with solos and banner ads. I actually just made $520 yesterday and I was thinking of becoming a War Room Member.

I'm an idea guy. I love talking about ideas. People and events bore the hell out of me. I once heard somewhere that small minds talk about people, medium minds talk about events, and big minds talk about ideas. Or something to that effect.

Anyway, I'm becoming a War Room Member because that's what I think I need to do for my business. But if you have $500 and no idea what you wanna do other than turn that into $2000 you could very easily get sucked into some crap and end up with nothing.

If I had $500 to invest and I had no clue what to do with it, I would NOT even dare to use it to make more money.

The reason is that if you do not have enough knowledge and understanding of what you are doing, you will lose money fast, guaranteed.

For instance, I could advise you to buy solo ads for profitable affiliate products right? But making money from solo ads or any other type of advertising is a skill in itself.

One of the most frequently asked questions by internet marketing newbies is "Why is no one responding to my ads?"!!

No matter what tactic or strategy anyone here gives you, you will need to really know what you are doing in order to make progress.

So really the best options for you are as follows:

1. Get yourself a good course on internet marketing or whatever aspect of it you are interested in and really study and understand it well.

Personally, I would recommend a course that gives you a complete picture of internet marketing so that you know how everything fits together.

What I mean is, what's the point of getting a course on traffic generation if you don't know anything about selecting profitable products in the first place, or how to convert your sales into life time customers?

You get my point. You will do much better, much faster if you get a big picture understanding of internet marketing. I recomend the course at www.followupsellingsystems.com or the one at www.sitesell.com.

They are great courses for newbies. I've bought them both and I know for a fact that they can speed up your success online.

2. The second option is to get coaching. A good coach will help you succeed faster because he or she will give you a winning step by step process to follow that will really fast track your progress.

Rather than figuring out how to spend your $500 all by yourself and making several deadly mistakes in the process, why not hire someone who's been there and done that to guide you up an easier path to success.

If one has a solid way of doubling that I say go for it. I know what I'm doing so I would personally spend it on banner ads. If I had no idea it would go straight to education, whether that be WSO or otherwise.
