Just a Quick reminder for the Beginners Here: Do not underestimate YouTube...

I my opinion the Holy Grail of Internet Marketing !!

I uploaded 10 Videos and optimized them for less competitive 3-5 word Keywords and My Affiliate Links get on average 50 Clicks per day.

Resulting in $ 50/day or $1 per Click !

So Stop Looking for "How to make money Online" crap and work 4 - 8 hours a day by promoting on YouTube and various other Video Sites.

Use cbengine.com to see whats hot to promote. Be sure to optimize Your Videos because NO results will come from an unoptimized Video !

Anyway...Do not lose hope folks Money can be made online very easy. Just stay away from the BIG keywords and You are ready to go.

      Yeah YouTube is pretty easy to rank nowadays with the right optimization.

      Also, I find taking the time to record a personal video review of a product helps to add trust and credibility to show you have actually used and benefited from it.

    I've never seen any CB products that PAY per click! lol

    How many sales do you generate out of those 50 clicks? That is what we need to know.

    • He is not saying that he gets paid per click, he is just giving a simple average; 50$ profit from the sales accumulated from 50 clicks = an average of $1 per click. While that is not an accurate statement, it does its' job of illustrating his point. Hope this helped

  • there are various type of traffic in youtube and you need exact and most hot spot keyword to get targeted traffic....But you said you just used few keywords...may be you must have gotten lucky with the keyword thing....

      The real key here is to do your homework on the stuff you are promoting. I am going to gag if I see more clickbank review videos from people who obviously didn't take the time to understand the niche that is interested in the product...

      Also.... seems most people don't buy the product and check it out for themselves.

      STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD.

      Maybe...you could offer a relevant bonus and tell people to email you with their receipt # if they buy through your link...and you will send out the bonus as soon as you get the email?

  • Imagine you would've sent this traffic to your own site or a list. Then, you'd get even more sales long term. $50 now is nothing compared to even more sales in the future.

  • Could you explain what the characteristics of an "optimized" video are? F.e. post a huge list of related tags into the video? Do you use annotations for getting the bunch of the traffic or do you rely on the description alone?

    Are your videos a review of the product? If so, do you use the products first or do you make your review based on researching online about the product.

    Are all 10 of your videos on page 1 in Google for their keyword or only some of them?

    What is the reason why you use Clickbank instead of Amazon when it has a higher refund rate and a worser conversion rate? I know the commision rates are higher, but when you take into account those other factors I mentioned, does it make it a better option.

    • I have good success with youtube and its really easy. Review videos converts well but make sure you link to a offer that has a video on its sales page for the simple reason that people on Youtube prefer watching videos.

      I target high volume keywords to build my lists on various niches.

      You can get to Page 1 ranking in 3-5 days with simple link building and good amount of views.

      I too prefer clickbank, no they don't hv a high refund rate (in case you are talking bout money making programs then yes relatively), it all depends on the kind of product you are promoting.

      Here is one of the simple video that I made few months back and it already made be close to $350 in last 2 months. If you are targeting product reviews then It's all about how many videos you have, search volume and conversions...

  • I have been screen capturing my experiments with youtube video ranking following this protocol:

    Product should have at least 100 exact local searches on Google Keywords.

    Make sure there is a video ALREADY ranking on the first page of google.

    Make sure the video that is ALREADY ranking on the first page of google has less than 20,000 views.

    Video: write video script at least 500 words - keyword no more than 3 times.

    VIDEO: Make 2 to 3 min screencast or powerpoint video presentation about the product using script.

    VIDEO: Talk about the product, its features,its benefits, its unique selling points and what people are saying about it.

    VIDEO: Make sure you have a call to action near the end of the video.eg- "For More Information, Click Below"

    VIDEO: Name video after keyword/product name "keyword.mp4" eg. fatlossmadeeasy.mp4.

    Use keyword as the first words in your title.

    Put keyword in tags area on youtube.

    Put video script in youtube description area for video.

    But the fact is,If your videos are only aiming at promotion of a product,It will get deleted and you will have to startup from beginning.So take care so that your video is of top quality.

    • Ranking youtube on Google is all relative. I have made videos targeting product name related keywords that went to top3 position on Google after 15 minutes. But I've also had really popular general keywords 50,000+ searches with really high quality videos and High PR sites on page 1 rank in about a month. Do you want to go after the low hanging fruit or are you willing to wrestle a little bit with the big G gorilla to get to those high search rankings.

      I would almost release a WSO on my technique but there are about a zillion different WSO's already out on youtube. Some are more complete than others but, I will admit, i have found seriously found only one that covers all on-page SEO for youtube videos. And I'll tell you, it's definitely not what everyone thinks
  • You touch on a good point here and the reason is twofold. First, it's a numbers game so the more YouTube videos you have = more clicks = more sales. As long as the traffic is targeted. Second, YouTube videos are a great asset to have. Unlike SEO, you don't have to satisfy the latest algorithm changes all of the time.

    Thanks for taking me back to basics, always good to revisit the core principles once in a while.

  • i tried YouTube and firstly, i copied some one else's video and then uploaded it got a couple of views. i tried to optimize my video with title and tags. but i didn't get many views. what was i doing wrong? then next day i couldn't log in to my YouTube account because i broke a guideline.

    so how can i optimize videos better. the video wasn't personal it was a sales page.

    i didn't use the product's keywords. i just wrote lots of words to do with making money online.should i use the product's keywords next time?

  • Do your videos follow all youtube guidelines? Do you build your list or direct link them to the offer? I know someone who has a list of 300 for a self help product on clickbank who is making $30 -$60 a day with just one video. The JV page gives a 7 day sequence for auto-responders so you can automate the process.

    I see you have a lot of Questions.
    Let me just say You don't need massive traffic to make money online. In some cases this is the wrong way to go...Except You are building a email list

    The real method I think is personalized & believable YouTube Videos to a selected crowd..
    Be down to earth and talk honest about the product... For example some of my videos generate 200 views per day but I am not getting any sales from them...Why ? Well, simple...They are not buying my story,or the product on that video is all over Net and they "been there done that" !!

    So I started to experiment a lot trying all kind of stuff and my main occupation was still how to get tons of views to a "BAD VIDEO" totally underestimating the content on the Videos itself...So one day I uploaded a Video totally different from what I done before and it clicked the first night I made $50 from about 30 Views.

    And so I realized...Its not the quantity of Videos I need its the quality !
    1 Good and honest review of a product can make you more money compared to 100 videos...

    Steps You need to do :

    1) Find a GOOD Product using cbengine.com
    And stay away from the stuff that is all over the Internet ( Max 100 gravity ). Think as a Customer : Use common sense when selecting a Product,the website should be good looking and appealing to the customer and promote only the products You would buy Yourself if You were looking for that kind of products online. And don't forget there are many great products in the ClickBank marketplace to chose from, but the majority is to lazy and sticks to the TOP 10 and by doing so they fail right from the start by having a lot of competitor affiliates and will rank much harder in YouTube etc!

    2) Make a honest Video about the Product
    Contact the product owner and ask for a FREE copy as a CB Affiliate.

    3) And now the FUN part...Getting Traffic Optimization...
    This stuff is highly overestimated these days. Even a 10 Year old can use the power of a HIGHLY POPULAR site like YouTube to optimize a Video to rank well for any Keyword even in Google !!

    What this means is :
    Use Google keywords tool and search for 3 - 5 word Keywords with a min of 100 searches per month.
    For best results use YouTube and Upload a Video and in 99% of Time You will be on the first site of Google as well for that Keyword.

    ( Google keywords tool is Your friend, and don't forget to check the EXACT count on the left side when you search a keyword for the search amount ).

    HINT...
    After You find a Good Keyword with 100 EXACT searches per month go to Google and Input it like this : "Your Keyword" and press enter.

    You Will see something like this below : About 23,000 results (0.22 seconds).

    So a count of 15.000 - 30.000 is the best to rank on the first site on Google with that keyword using YouTube..

    Explanation : There is not a lot of competition for that keyword and by using a Highly Popular domain name/website like YouTube Google will be mere then happy to rank You on the first page with your video because we all know Google loves popular Websites !!

  • Other than paying for traffic, YouTube is the fastest, highest quality traffic you can get right now. So, get real, review products people actually want to buy and be original and you will be successful.

    • The thing is YOUTUBE I hear is already starting to clamp down on these strategies, and more clamp downs are coming, and more accounts are gunna get deleted.

      But in the mean time, you can do this, if you go VIRAL and add something funny or informative and get people handing it around.

      I would say

      1) Video has to be killer, or insanely valuable.

      2) Think keywords, keywords, keywords next.

      3) Then learn to get people to promote your vidoe or do it yourself for extra link juice and more eyes on the video, and your links.

    Pay attention to this factors, when publishing a video on YouTube if you want to get traffic:
    Keywords in YouTube Video title
    When choosing a title for your YouTube video, don't write something like "Check it Out Guys" , this is dumb not going to help your video to rank higher on YouTube. Instead, try to look at from SEO point of view.

    2. Keywords in Description

    Again, think basic SEO & Keywords

    3. Keywords in the Tags

    Use Tags that are relevant to the video and would be used as keywords to find your video

    4. Incoming Links

    Something that you cann't really control and should be growing "organically".

    5. Time Watched (New Factor in YouTube algorithm)

    This is a brand new factor that was added to YouTube's search ranking algorithm that ranks videos that have a higher watched time by viewers and is not getting stopped 10 seconds after playing. So, if your video is 5 minutes long, but the average time watched is less than a minute long - you YouTube search rank will most likely drop

  • Youtube can be very profitable if you make a good and convincing video and are promoting the right product. I've had days where I've uploaded a video and within less than 12hrs I've made over $200 in commission from it. You're always at the mercy of Youtube though, if they ban your account then that video is gone and you might not be able to rank so easily next time round, it can be hit or miss at times.
