Effects on SEO: CMS vs. Manually HTML-coded Site?

Hi,

I am generally manually coding sites, while I know that nowadays it's fashionable to use a CMS system... but they are so rigid and I want to rule my own design and layout...

So I was wondering: which one is better?
Is there any difference?

Coding my own site or using a CMS system... how do they each affect SERPs?

Well... there is quite known that google will make first available an HTML website instead of a CMS. That is mainly because the HTML website has a cleaner code, doesn't spam the index of google and also has an improved speed.

    Hi,

What's important is to know how the SEO game works. Then you can apply the same strategies regardless of how your site is built... I see a lot of people saying WP is better for SEO than other solutions, but it's just not true: you can do the same with any CMS or a manually built website, as long as you know what you're doing. A good CMS may just make is faster and easier for you, that's all, for example with its URL rewriting system that lets you have permalinks easily.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

    I will go with WordPress.
You can design your own custom WP designs if you know how to code PHP and CSS.
(I know that you know coding since you mentioned it...)

There is something in WP that google loves...Its total structure, RSS system, etc etc...

    Thank you
