Yeah, I really want to get Action Popup but at this point it would not be the right investment with the limited working capital that I have.

I also learned that Aweber has pop-over generator as well. I think I'll just try it out and see how it works!

Then the fun will REALLY begin (creating a powerful follow up sequence for my product)

AWeber's "hover-over" form is usually unblockable by pop-up blockers. It isn't technically a pop-up.

Hmmm... I have never liked pop-ups, I leave a site as soon as one jumps up into my face. . . Not just me, BUT MANY people. I have asked almost everyone I know, and they all hate them. Some of my friends told me they only sign up because they feel pushed.

Anyway, just my opinion. . . I realise that some people use them.

Here is my total way of thinking on this. People have motives. They come to your site because they searched and they now are curious. The pop-up LEAPS at them, and they only enter their info to get rid of it. Okay, so you have a name.. BUT is it valuable? Will you get their interest and desire built up?

I have an INCREDIBLE opt in rate for my page.. I am not even launched yet. Is it because of my product? Do I build enough desire in my ad copy? I have seen days that my inbox just goes nuts with opt-ins. . .

I prefer to have people on my list THAT REALLY have a genuine interest, they have not been forced or FELT forced to fill in a pop-up. You see, people do what you ask of them. They might have ZERO desire for your product, and now you will have to REALLY sell well to get any money from them. I WANT people on my list who truly have desire. I don't want people who felt pushed. . .

It's like this, you are trying to cross the road, a big truck pulls up and the guy says, "Give me your address and you can pass..." THAT'S how many people feel about pop-ups.

Okay, I know.. People use them.. This is JUST my opinion, and how I do it has been working well for me.. Wait.. It must be more than mine because they created the pop-up blocker.. Must be a reason for that. .
