Fiverr banned my account after giving 3 consecutive negative ratings/feedback to 3 different providers who delivered trash. I am not selling anything and all transactions I made are all buying mostly press release/article submissions and other link building services.

I can't think of any other reason why they banned me for no reason. I think that sums-up everything.

Beware......

I can understand why 3 negative feedbacks in a row may look suspicious. Some people do that on purpose to kill the competition.
When a service is bad I first try to talk to the seller to get a better result or even ask for a cancellation if it's really worthless.
Anyway, if you're not a new buyer over there, and have a history of successful purchases, I'm sure emailing support, telling them you're not a spammer, will solve the problem.
By the way, I would never buy anything SEO related on that site. It's too risky. Only graphics, video reviews and etc.
    Cheers, good luck.

Yes as above said will be worth contacting support and get them to look into it, id think you would be unblocked if you have good previous purchases and not alot of bad reviews ain your account all together

worst thing that happens is your account stays blocked

I would want to believe it was because you are acting more like someone taking advantage of others and getting stuffs done for free.

Even eBay or PayPal will raise an eyebrow if you buy things 3 times and get a refund or dispute 3 consecutive times.

It´s good to know. I´ve only given negative feedback when my orders are deliverd several days too late and then It´s never been any problems with Fiverr. Usually I´m pleased with what I get for $5 (probably don´t expect too much).

Me too. I've given out maybe 3 or 4 negative feedbacks out of about 65 transactions. A couple were for work not delivered on time, and a couple were for horrible work. I mean really bad. One was for a website header that looked like someone's first attempt at Photoshop, seriously. And the other was for a guy who might have used other people's logos in his portfolio, because what he delivered was not nearly as good. And I paid extra for the .psd source file which he never sent me. I sent a couple of polite reminders, but he never replied. I know he was on Fiverr because he was replying to other gigs and feedback. He told me he was in the hospital, so I knew he was lying since he was obviously online (there was proof). I got Fiverr tech support to help me out with this one. Yes, he got a negative, but not just from me. He was at 92% positive feedback, then a few weeks later, I see he was even below that. Then he abandoned his account.

I think it you have give out mostly positive reviews, a few negatives might not be bad. But three in a row... yeah unless you have A LOT of other transactions to offset it, I can see how that might raise some red flags. Sometimes I just let it slide. I get something back that's really not so good, but not bad enough that I complain. I just don't give any feedback and make sure not to use that person again. Now I only pick people with a high feedback rating and lots of transactions - even if it means I have to wait a few days or a couple of weeks. As long as I know the waiting period ahead of time, I'm OK with that. Considering I'm only paying $5, I can wait. If I need it faster, I can find another outsourcer for more money. And if it turns out to be a dud, at least I didn't spend too much.

You may be making the wrong assumption as to the reason . Contact Fiver for an explanation . Did you just give negative feedback or did you reject delivery as well , which would mean refunds would be issued in those instances as well .

Sometimes buyers have too high expectations , not saying this was the case in your situation . Remember buyers only pay $5 per gig which is not much . Sellers actually receive less tha $4 per gig . $1 goes to fiver , than paypal also have there fees . Not selling on fiverr myself but bear in mind what you paying and expect results to be in proportion .

Could also have been some kind of mistake . So yeah , I would say contact fiver customer support and see if they can give an explanation for banning your account .

Yes it is $5, however the sellers should deliver what they advertise. If sellers advertise something too much for them, or something they can't deliver good quality, they shouldn't put the gig up in the first place.

I think some people who are new to selling on Fiverr get carried away and offer 24 hour delivery, source files, etc, all for $5 (for which they get $4, less PayPal fees, as mentioned above). Then they get flooded with orders because it's such good value, and then realize they can't keep up with it. Sometimes they're non-confrontational and just disappear or ignore messages.

I like dealing with the experienced sellers on Fiverr. Sure, they charge extra for 24 hour delivery, source files, etc, but it's still a bargain. And sometimes, because they are so good, there' a waiting line and I have to wait a few days or even a couple of weeks. But it's worth it. And every once in a while I take a chance on a newbie. But I agree, they should deliver what they promise. I get annoyed when I don't get the source files or priority service I paid for, then again, I have to remember it's just $5. Easy enough to get back from Fiverr support if needed. In a few rare cases out of the many successful ones I've had, I got a refund as a buyer.

It would look suspicious if all you have done is leave negative feedback for 3 gigs and never left a good review, I think most would be unlucky if they bought 3 gigs in a row and they were poor.

Fiverr are just looking after their market place, unfortunately as gigs are cheap some buy gigs in fake accounts just to kill the competitions rating, and without negotiation leave bad feedback, most will try deliver what you want if you explain you were expecting more.

I know it is just $5 but they should deliver what they say, but like everything it is hard to make everyone happy, and if you have just been harsh with your judgement without expressing your not happy with what as been delivered then that is not good, after all these are people trying to earn a living doing things usually for far less than professionals would charge.

When I got banned the first time on fiverr, I was a buyer cheer up. This type of things happens on fiverr.

I was pissed of because I never understand how a buyer can get banned without a reason. I wasn't selling, offering or own anything that compete with them and never worked with someone outside. I just woke up one day found the account suspended.

Never bothered even getting in touch with their customer support, if a buyer who spending good money can get suspended without a careful consideration. I wouldn't bother buy from them in the first place. After all they are not the only one out there.

now i opened a new account and bought 3400 REAL human likes in 4 days, a day after i purchased the gig was changed to 34 REAL human likes in 14 days, i was WTF is this for real?

    crappy service, crappy support.

I've been a member of fiverr after 3 months it opened and I made around a hundred of transactions already. With that number, I think I gave around a dozen of negative feedback.

I contacted fiverr but they are not responding yet maybe because it's weekend. 2 of the 3 providers asked me to remove my negative feedback but they did not give explanation why they did not follow my instruction.

Hmmm... you've been a long time member of Fiverr with a decent number of transactions, so they can see you're not a newbie. Must have been the three negatives in a row, or maybe if you go over 10% negative feedback (feedback that you give to others, not receive yourself), maybe they ban you.

In my experience with Fiverr I've found their support staff to be quite helpful and very quick to respond, like within the hour or sooner.

Maybe the automated bots Fiverr uses "thought" had given personal contact info. You know how as soon as you type certain keywords relating to money, payment, email addresses, etc, a warning appears above the text box. Maybe there was, inadvertently, a certain combination of words that triggered the ban, and you didn't notice it. Even if you're a long time user of outsourcing sites like that. Or, maybe it was the three negatives in a row that caused this to happen.

I'd be interested in knowing the reason too. Maybe they won't respond to a closed account. Perhaps open a new account, and before you use it, send in your question to Fiverr support. I'm not sure if you'll have to confirm a new PayPal account to do so thought...

      1. web 2.0 submissions
      2. bookmark submission
      3. press release submissions

And most doesn't have my links so I left negative comments. Social bookmarks where unknown to me contrary to the advertised lists (most have zero PR or unranked).. First time I used all 3 providers and all from India.

Really? I've had just the opposite experience. As a buyer, Fiverr has always backed me up. Of course, there are always two sides to every story, but each time I contacted Fiverr support, I truly believed I was in the right, and Fiverr support agreed. Not that I make a habit of this - the vast majority of my purchases on Fiverr have gone really smoothly. And the odd time I got something that didn't quite meet my expectations, but wasn't totally bad, I just let it go (a design I didn't like, or the seller being slightly late like a few hours, or 1-2 days). Now I'm better at picking sellers who are the right fit for my needs and don't seem to have any problems.

Don't go to Fiverr for link building services. You can't really trust anyone on that site, even if they have a 100% rating. I paid for a gig that was supposed to improve my SEO, what i got was a PDF telling me to go to another website and buy the services from them. So essentially i paid $5 for a redirect.

Dude 3 negative feedbacks in a row? Honestly i don't blame Fiverr, maybe you expect way more than the $5 you paid.

I have gotten a few gigs that were crap but i have always given the seller opportunity to fix the problem, actually about a month ago i had an issue with a purchase and finally after about a full week after deliver of the gig the guy finally fixed it cuz i emailed him a few times.

This person had 100% feedback on fiverr and i wasn't about to ruin it for a stupid $5, i am not evil like that. And even if they don't fix it i would go to customer support first because how about if they had an emergency, it's only $5

I am an active seller at Fiverr - and so I understand that you are a buyer. Well, the Fiverr team has encourages everyone to settle any problem first, that's why the seller can deliver his work/gig multiple times just to satisfy the buyer. You can always reject the gigs delivered to you once you do not like it. I am a seller and a buyer at the same time, I spent most of my revenue at outsourcing banners and other SEO related works that I cannot handle due to lack of time - but I never had pressed the negative button. If you have chance to settle, to fix some gigs that are not delivered according to your instructions, then fix it... Seller has been doing, I guess, there best to deliver the best service ever. We are not experts though, or not all of us are mind readers - so it's better to emphasize what you really want.

I don't know why feedback even matters in that place. Does anyone actually trust the feedback? Most are fake, even people here encourage fake reviews on there. Most good reviews are very generic and often by the same person multiple times. I think the hardcore fiverr's from what I read encourage multiple accounts. The one guy selling his fiverr wso says he doesn't even know most of his log ins because once an acct is ruined, he just opens up another one.

That hit me as a surprise. I give positive ratings to approx 95% of gigs. It would still be easy to get three bad gigs in a row. Oh wow, I guess they do not like to ever refund us. Fiverr should in fact start banning spammers. People contact me outside of Fiverr normal channels asking me for gigs. Yeah, that can get so very annoying.

If you contact Fiverr customer support be sure to describe exactly what your expectations were from the gigs, what was delivered and why you left a negative review (i.e. exactly what was wrong with them). I've only had good experiences with their support and if you've been fair in your reviews it's my experience that they'll see that.
