10.000 email addresses, what should I do with them?

I started a website in 2005 for the people from my country (in Africa) living abroad, most in UK, USA, Canada and EU, when adsense blocked my website in 2010 I was so discouraged I deleted everything without thinking (damn, I regret doing that). More than 500£/month in adsense disappeared just by reading an email.

Lately I have been looking into my saved files on the old external drive and found the email list from people who were registered on that website, 10.700 email addresses.

What can I do to use those email to generate some income? anything?

    You should email them, stating you're the prince of Nigeria and you need their help bringing $100,000,000 USD into their country...

    So you've got african citizens living abroad, that's tough really - maybe travel guides from amazon for their specific country?

    Find out if you've got more of a US or UK (or other) demographic, and go that route - that's what I'd start with.

    If you were making money with it, then do the same thing.

    Start another blog/website with adsence and invite your list back .

      It was a video website, I use to upload comedy, movies and political reports from that country and added those I found online (youtube, vimeo...).

        Send them some entertainment and see how many open. Get a CPA offer like a project payday or something and have it as a PS line in your emails.

    The list is likely to be junk. Emails change a lot over the years.

      My thoughts exactly. Particularly if you weren't emailing them before, you aren't going to have much of a relationship established with these peoples. Conversions will be stinkier than my eighth grade gym socks.

    I would suggest emailing the list and asking them what they want. The answers you get may give you an idea of how to monetize. This will also tell you how many of the emails are no longer valid.

    So start a new site just like the old one. let them know you are starting back up again(re-launching better than ever). Get a few members and sell the site on flippa. Emailing that list anything other than what they signed up for from you is trouble.

    I had a similar site that focused on local politics and Adsense team blocked my adsense account..

    with your list you can offer a solution to the users living abroad..
    how about a solution to send money home for a commission? through paypal or moneybookers to your account and from your account transfer money to recipient through local money transfer services..
