Way to split traffic between 2 urls with a tracking link?

I'd like to split test my squeeze pages, but want to use one tracking link to send traffic to two versions of the squeeze page. So, when I buy a solo ad or swap with someone, I can just give them the one tracking link and know that 50% of their traffic will be sent to page A and 50% to page B.

I found one service that does this, but costs $100 a month, I'm looking for a cheaper alternative if there is one. Let me know, thanks everyone!

You should check out John Cornetta's Click Maximizer and Jayson Benoit's Quality Click Control...

Both will do what you are asking and more and both are a one time fee and you host them on your own server for maximum control.

    Hope this helps.

      I don't think Goo.gl will rotate links.

Also, Google is very quick to cut links off without notice and they don't seem to like "make money online". So it would be a nightmare to pay for a solo ad only to have goo.gl cut the link off before you get all the clicks you paid for.

Always best to use something you can control and that is hosted on your own server when possible to avoid 3rd party failures.

I don't think that rotates links - from what I can tell it's mostly for tracking traffic sources.

I guess he could use Google Website Optimizer and setup a test that way - but it's so easy to just create two different squeeze pages and rotate the links. Usually you can tell in a very short time which is converting better.

Whereas if it was a long term thing like a sales page that had lots of affiliates sending traffic to it from different sources then it would probably be a better idea to use something like Google Analytics or something more advanced.

      Hope that makes sense.
