Hey Warriors,

Besides using this forum, what are your main sources for high quality solo ads? I usually just contact the list owner, but was wonder if there are any sites you guys can recommend.

Thanks,

Mike

  • You can buy Solo Ads from numerous places but finding the right places is key.

I normally buy solo ads to peoples buyers lists so I contact people that are doing launches on Warrior forum and other people I trust on WF

I also contact vendors on ClickBank who are doing launches as well.

These solo ads are 10 times the quality than just using sites like solo ad directory.

It will cost you a bit more to buy from these vendors doing launches but its well worth it rather than just buying your normal solo ad.

Just make sure your tracking your stats.

    • I agree with you Craig 100%

this way you are buying a solo ad with only buyers on the list, so if you have a good sales funnel in place, you can get back your investment in just one solo, and end up with a nice list of buyers of your own
  • Thanks for the advice.
  • If you take little time to research, it is easy to find
solo ad resources (free or paid) that IM marketers
use or recommend, some even rate their experience.

I hope I won't be breaking the forum rules by giving this
    as an example

  • I'm always on the look out for *cheap* traffic.

I use $10 solo ads on safelists like AdTactics. You'll find that almost everyone says these lists are garbage, and I'm always happy to hear it. To me, "garbage" is an untapped traffic source that not a lot of people have figured out how to use.

On safelist solos $10 gets you in front of tens of thousands of people. I often get opt-ins for 50 cents each. After that its up to me to have a good follow-up sequence and to convert these people, and I do.

You want credit safelists, and it can pay to be a paid member depending on the safelist.

These things only really work if you're in the IM/biz-op niche, however.
  • I use safe-swaps.com and has proven to be very successful for me.

  • Read the article, well written and concise. I also tweeted it. Thanks for posting your link.
  • My company just ran a solo add through Target Optin Customers a few days ago.

It cost $49 for 300,000 whitelisted leads within our company category! Check it out..

We had 61,497 opened emails! (Just remember- it all comes back to how effectively you can write your stuff!)

    Hope that helps!

    To Your Crazy Success,

    Josh

    • How many optins did you get? What niche?
    • How many optins did you achieve out of those 61k opens?
    • Yes 61,497 opened. BUT those stats mean nothing. What we want to know is how many clicked? and how many then opted in to your list. Thats the real stats.

This guy reviewed that company and while he got 1,000,000 open he only got 145 clicks. Which is a CON!

  • Reed Floren's Solo Ad Directory is a good place to start.

However, my favorite place has actually been here on Warrior Forum classified ads section.

  • I did a case study around 7 months ago and tested around 18 different solo ads

It was interesting to say the least

When i started i just used some of the ones that are freely available on blogs and forums etc

    I had ok results

What i started to do was after i had purchased the solo ad and all clicks were delivered i asked the solo seller if they could recommend any other good solo seller. I did this with every solo ad and soon i had a mammoth list of solo ads to try

I actually did this with Rodgers solo ad and he gave me quite a few other solo ads which worked out well, like his sister for example

It's all about testing to see which ones respond best to your offer and then once you know it's a quality solo ad, increase your click purchase

    • Paul did you create a list of which ones worked?
  • When asking for Solo Ad refs, you might want to clarify your target audience. Was just checking out Rodger's site, but didn't see anything about target audience... Isn't it important to know that your solo ad goes to your target audience, or do you not care who receives it? Marketing 101 right?
  • Safe Swaps is a great choice if you are in the IM niche. If you aren't you should look to contact forum owners and product creators because they will most likely have responsive lists with quality leads.

  • Search for blog in your niche...Look at the blog that offers a opt in...

Ask the owner politely if they offer any solo ads or offer them some commission etc

    Hope this helps
  • Last purchase I made on safe-swaps (about a week ago), more than half of the solos that were clicked resulted in return spam from the people who clicked on my link. Seller was rated at 100%. I have heard this is happening a lot these days. It is truly buyer beware. If you find a good solo seller, you better stick with them.
  • You can buy from Ezine Solo Ads. The benefits of ezine solo ads is that you get full control over the ad copy with ezine solo ads. There a no restrictions in what page you go to and you can promote a paid offer without having to give away a free gift first. If your ad copy works well then you can get lots of clicks for a low cost.

But there are no guarantees. If your ad flops then you can get hardly any clicks and it is very expensive.
  • Worry no more guy, you can find what you really want at Directory of Ezines, you've got to check it out right away, the site got most of the criteria you may need.

  • Hi.

This is worse in my eyes, have read Reed Floren's Solo Ad Directory, ok he will help us, bu it's not a good start it is completly not good business. Why?

Read the reviews on his website, most of them get clicks and subscribers, but not make sales.

This iws not a business when you not make sales from the list. You can sit at your PC and smoke your on money, its the same result in my eyes.

Targetting buyer traffic, this is the place where you must advertise, this is what you need.
Not a list when everybody subscriber will not buy.

  • Hi,

    @HelpingYouBeAnExpert; This is very great!
You got 61.497 opened emails, but does you have make sales?

The site targetoptincustomers.com looks very interesting their package, but their categories are very general, like Men as example. So there is all for men, gifts, aftershave, bodybuilding, and so on.

On generel categories the scattering risk is too high, every businessman knows that.

When I write guest posts regular on target niche related websites, my traffic will be more target than traffic (emails) from an general categorie and it costs me nothing (by the most websites).

When 1% from these 61.000 opened emails buy your affiliate product and you get 30$ comission from each sale; 610x30= 18.300$ in comission, that is very crazy! But when you have such an big list like targetoptincustomers, would you sell your high target buyer lists for 49$? You make only 49$ and the affiliate makes 18000$ ??

When the scattering risk is to high, the conversion rate is more lower than 1% I be sure.Every marketing studys says that, I think conversion rate here will be 0,01-0,05%. also 30-60 sales maximo.
OK 30 salesx30$= 900$ in comission still will be a great deal too, it is good money.

Question to solo ad advertising; When you buy a list again from these comnpany or from other solo ad sellers, you buy the same buyer clients again? Then in next month when you buy the list again, the conversion will be dropped down?

    best wishes

  • I get them thru the Warrior forum, FB Groups, and Reed Floren's Solo Ad Directory.
  • Warrior members still have one of the best solo ads. Just look around and ask.

    • I've tried several recommendations from the Warrior Forum, with mixed results. I'm now following John Chow's methods and have joined Safe Swaps. Safe Swaps makes it very difficult for you to make a bad choice regarding purchasing a solo ad as the rating system is top notch.

I've been getting as high as 44% opt-ins because the lists I'm sending to are specifically targeted.
  • The WSO section here features solo ad offers from time to time. Also, people post solo ad directories in this forum as well.
  • To answer your question: No, I have not found a universal solo ad provider that is better than researching it yourself(Yes, I know this takes time and money).

    Warning my opinion follows:

Some have mentioned target audience, But I think you need serious demographics about your targeted audiences and about the site(s) the ad will run on. Followscout is a plugin for web browsers that can give you the information about the sites that you want to advertise on.
Just look at those sites who target your audience and see where they place ads. Everybody wants a shortcut. You just need to do some research and test. If you need some help with demographics just reply to this thread and I will help.
