Paypal Image Question

Hey guys. I am almost ready to launch my first WSO and I wanted to post of a screenshot of my paypal account as proof that I do pretty well online. My book is about the general making money online category. My question is - Is this against Paypal's TOS? Am I allowed to do this? Of course, I have erased personal info from the image so none of my private account information is revealed and no names are shown.

Is this allowed by PP?

I don't think it's not allowed but I really don't see it as proving anything.

The money in your Paypal account could have come from anywhere and there is nothing to prove it was earnt from the methods you are teaching. Not to mention there have been a LOT of Paypal screenshots faked in this forum over the years (many have been caught out) so people are quite quick to dismiss proof like that.

I would concentrate your time on creating a killer product and you won't need to use Paypal screenshots as the product will speak for itself.

Well, I was thinking about leaving the first 2 letters of my name or at least the first letter. You can see my name in my screen name here anyhow.

Yes but your name proves nothing. Even if the screenshot is 100% legitimate and is from your account, it doesn't prove where that money came from. You could have earnt the money doing completely different things to those in the product you are trying to sell. You could have even deposited the money for the sake of creating a screenshot and I am sure others have done that in the past.

It's no different to the Clickbank screenshots people used to use that would show all these big earnings. The only problem was the earnings shown in the screenshots were from the products they had been selling and not the methods taught in their course.

Will is right- those screenshots can be faked extremely easy. If you want the proof to be more powerful, you can make a video of you logging in your paypal account (although, people manage to fake that too).

Yeah, I recommend not showing PayPal proof but there are some people that do show it in their WSOs. You really don't need it, if your product is good and you answer questions and give support then people will purchase and keep purchases WSOs from you.

Like WillR says it doesn't prove anything, most people just show earnings from something else and say it is from the product they are selling. If you still want to show your PP earnings, than you should just call Paypal, they are the only ones that can give you an accurate answer.
