YES!!!!

However, make sure you're not 'perfect' with it.

Google doesn't like 'over SEOing' a website.

But Yoast SEO plugin is one of my favorite.

Yes, but I recommend in becoming familiar with the functions and knowing why they are available. That way you can customize it to get the most out of the plugin.

I've never tried it so I don't know. I read elsewhere on the WF that someone used it on their WP site and said it was good. Was looking for other opinions on the plugin

Does this plugin take the place of say a "All-in-one SEO" or will you still need to have one of those plugins on your site as well?

  This plugin is a standalone seo plugin, so you can't use it combine with All In One SEO plugin.
  
  Yoast is a good SEO plugin ever with frequent updates, so it is a must have SEO plugin of WordPress. But, it has many functions that you need to customize carefully in order to user it with the maximum potential.

  I love Yoast WP SEO and I use it in all my sites, but since the comments here are divided to Yes and No, I would recommend that you test it for yourself (even split test it with SEO All in One and then decide
