Here is a basic overview of what affiliate marketing is?

You go to a website such as clickbank.com, sign up and find products that you would like to sell or promote. You set up a hop-link, a unique url just for yourself and use that to get people to buy the product you are promoting. Every time you sell a service or product through your link, you get paid, sometimes up to 75% commission.

There are some great ways to learn how to do affiliate marketing. One, you can take the time to research on your own, searching through google on how to market your products etc. You can buy a program such as Profit Lance, Wealthy Affiliate Etc that will teach you step-by step on how to be an affiliate marketer.

I agree that there is a great amount of information here. However the first question you want to ask is do you want to focus on being an affiliate for others or do you want to develop programs and have recruit affiliates? Those are two different issues and you need to decide which one you want to focus on first.

You'll get the best lessons, often for free, by opting in to the big guys newsletters. You don't actually have to buy stuff, simply watch how they run their business: emails sent, their copy, their launch strategies, product types.

You'll learn a ton.

I think earning from the CPA networks is the best option for anybody...Go for any affiliate network like hydra,cpalead....Also try to make a good website before applying to CPA network...try to increase the traffic on your site too...

Typically affiliate marketers start with products from places like ClickBank or Paydotcom (These two sites are like mega marketplaces of products developed by others, who in turn sell them through ClickBank/Paydotcom's affiliate program). Sometimes the product's sites will have affiliate material like SOLO email text and banners. You can then register onto traffic exchanges, safelists or other venues to send your offer to. You want to try to at least stick to credit-based advertising sites, so that (hopefully) the people recieving your offer in their inbox won't just delete it.

Credit-based venues are based on the concept of building up credits(number of people) to send a promotion to. The way to build up credits is to read through other peoples emails and at the bottom of each there will be a hyperlink for you to click which will bring up the website that particular marketer is promoting, along with a 10 or 20 second timer at the top of the page counting down until you earn more credits.

To find venues, search for 'Safelists' and 'Traffic Exchanges' into Google.

Some particular models of traffic exchanges and safelists are modeled and programmed differently, in my opinion I prefer the Traffic Exchange script and Safelist script developed by Frank Salinas because of their ease of use and simplicity.

That to me is one hell of a powerful statement and took me from the guy that chases the online dream of easy quick riches to the guy that is building a solid online business that generates $1000's online !

Join some lists of those 'Big Dogs', please do not be tempted to buy the products they promote but do pay close attention to some details of their... The mail subject lines that get your attention and make you open... The structure of their email content ... What the emails that make you click the link say ( remember dont get buying )

You get the idea, these people make a lot of cash online so what they do clearly works !!

Get into a marketers mindset, leave the buyers mindset alone... Now is time to become one of 'them' !!

Welcome! It's going to be a journey that you will continue to have to learn and grow. Don't fall for the hype of some people saying you can get rich in a couple of hours.

It's all a process that will take some time but you can make it happen.

I would just absorb as much info as you can from this forum.
