A Loophole in the WSO section?

If you bump a WSO, you must wait till it drops off the second page.

Does this rule apply to sellers who repost the same WSO in another thread?

Yes, they lose the comments - but when the comments are neutral or negative.....

  • Kay, you bring up an interesting point. Yes, if somebody launches a WSO and
they get blasted, reposting could bring them a few extra sales without
anybody knowing that it was already posted and didn't receive such a great
    reception.

Now that you've brought it up, what do we do about it?

    I certainly have no clue.
  • Yes, it applies to sellers who repost the same WSO in another thread. Otherwise someone could just post 10 WSOs in a row, offering the same product in different threads.

For my own WSOs, sometimes I bump the thread after page 2, and sometimes I start a new WSO after it's off the 2nd page. The reason I would start a new WSO, is to test different subjects...as you cannot change the subjects in the new forum.

    • Kay,

      Pretty much what Josh said.

You can only bump OR repost your WSO after it is off of page 2. (Meaning on page 3 or further).

The benefits of reposting instead of bumping are this:

      1. You can change your headline/subject

      2. Your WSO goes live instantly, instead of waiting for the bump approval.

      Disadvantages:

      1. Buyers won't know if the seller has had negative comments/reviews about that WSO previously.

      2. The WSO section can become full of reposts on the later pages.

Who knows how long the rules will stay this way...I am sure Allen will figure out what's best.
