Sorry for the vague title, but I'd like to do something extra on the side to start making a little extra spending money. I'm working on my websites and will be writing an ebook pretty soon but what do you all suggest for making money as quickly as this weekend? I'm not looking for thousands or anything like that, just something like $50-100?

I know of Fivver and I'll check them out but are there other places similar to that where I can do simple tasks for people and get paid? I just want to check out different ways of making money so that if I really wanted to buy something I would know where to go to make some quick small cash. I know for some of you making small amounts of money may come easy so I'm here to pick your brain.

what topic is your ebook on?

if its on the im niche you could easily make $50-$100 if you sell your ebook in the wso forum on this site.

None of my websites are on the IM niche. Unfortunately I'm not well versed in IM yet hence the reason I joined here. My ebook will be about game design. I'm sure it'll do pretty good but it will take me a while to create it.

I find it easy to write long articles and even wrote an ebook (Mabuhay Love on almost every platform) but not sure where this could come in handy. Sorry if these are really noobish questions but I'm pretty much just getting started in all this. I'm sure eventually I'll have some stuff to sell on here. I don't even know what WSO means yet.

    eBay.

You can source items on the weekend, and sell them at will making great profits in the process.

    Bam. Done.

You won't make money by this weekend on most things online. At the very least there is a 5 day lead time. Even if you got your first sale and completed the task tonight on Fiverr, they hold the money for several days before they release it.

Are you willing to push yourself away from your computer and preform some sort of an in demand service out in the real world? If so you'll make a lot more than $50 - $100 Just pick something that you can enjoy doing.

I made over $7000 last weekend shooting simple portraits and outsourcing the edits to my team of editors at: Shooting from the Heart! - MomsWithCamera.com

Taking and selling portraits is not rocket science. Even if you aren't a good photographer... my team of digital artists can make you look good!

Anyone interested in making money with their digital camera is welcomed to my free mini course and 20 digital fantasy backgrounds at: Free Background of The Month Club - Worlds Best Free Backgrounds!

Ha - and it will cost a war room membership and 40 bucks to post.

And don't think just because you post an offer you'd make any money.

what do you all suggest for making money as quickly as this weekend?
No clue as to what you are qualified to do or what items you have that you could sell right away.

Ebay is a close one and can be done by the weekend or even tonight if you have some things in place and something worth selling.

Whether it is online or offline, you have 3 general options.

        1. sell/perform a service
        2. sell/promote someone elses service or product
        3. sell your own product

You have to do something that someone is willing to pay money for.

So, what do you have to sell currently in your possession or what service can you offer?

Well if I had to pick some skills I'd say:

          - Pretty good at Photoshop, not an expert but I have plenty of experience using it on a daily basis
          - Can sit and write fairly easily, so maybe good for article writing or some other type of writing jobs?
          - Computer savvy and have plenty of experience dealing with computer networks and IT in general (I do IT for the military mostly on Cisco networks). Not sure how I could capitalize on that experience.

I'm mostly looking for something that I can do in between projects that I can make some quick cash. I'm sure once my sites/products start doing well this won't be much of an issue but I'm always looking for ways to bring in some money other than the norms.

eBay is my quickest way to make $50-$100 on a weekend. But, like anything else, you have to know how to do it.

Still don't understand how you all make money with eBay. Are you selling old stuff that you have or are you selling something you purchased for a higher price?

Hundreds of copies of my Pet Photography ebook sold on ebay at $197.00 each. Yanik Silver mentioned my ebay success in his book "Moonlighting On The Internet".

Ebay is still a great way to make some extra money. However, unless you list your ebook as a classified ad you can't sell digitally delivered products. The way around this is to use Kunaki.com to burn and ship your ebook on a physical CD.

You can also sell your services on sites like Freelancer.com

              Cheers,

at this rate it will be the weekend by time you figure it out.

Yes you find items either new/used that you know would sell on ebay. Otherwise market your skills out on freelance sites.

              Good luck

Haha, I'm not actually looking to make money this weekend just used that to denote that I would like to find something that I can start quickly. I didn't know you could see digital content on ebay.

I may have to venture into making ebooks on the weekends or something that will utilize my writing skills. I have experience using places like Amazon and Smashwords along with Lulu for distribution to multiple platforms. Thanks all for the advice!

Also I have a Zazzle store which still somehow makes money even after years of not updating a thing. I may need to start making some stuff to add to it.

    Couple of options.

Look for items around the house to sale on Craigslist (cash, quicker, and no fees)
Look for items on Craigslist to resell on Craigslist (yes you read that right)
Look for items on CL to sell on eBay (take into consideration eBay fees, PayPal Fees, Shipping Fees)
Look for items on eBay to sell on CL.

As you have mentioned, you can write so go ahead and finish up some eBooks. You wont get paid this weekend as it take about 2 months to get payment once you reach the minimum payout. But, once you get rolling, this will be a monthly income.

It will be hard to sell articles if you are just starting out, but I would recommend Fiverr.com for this route. But as pointed out, it will take at least 2 weeks to get payment. Focus on things that will bring you a steady income.

    Good Luck.

If your neighborhood is anything like mine, you could help small
businesses and work from home people with their computers,
    printers and networks.

I manage a small hotel and we paid (I should say wasted money)
on computer repair and getting our free wifi to work over the
entire building. I ended up figuring out the wifi myself because
the second IT guy told me "backwards" on the IP address assignments.

The first IT guy we hired (has a day job for a large business running their
computer systems) for computer repair had a really bad customer service
attitude. Also, he did a lousy job on the computer repair because the
OS needed to be reinstalled and he did more of a band aid fix because he
did not want to take the time to do it right. Failed on the wifi because
he thought a wifi booster like you use in a small home would do the trick.
He also installed Norton commercial on our system under his corporate
day job account - not ethical or legal or practical since we could not get
Norton support when needed (Who are you guys?)

So, you could easily make $75 to $100 per job or more if you have
a good customer service ethic, competence, and the ability to talk
in lay terms and establish trust and rapport. You could grow about
as big or little as you wanted.
