Looking for a Wordpress theme recommendation

INTERNET MARKETING

I am looking for a "news magazine" sort of theme for Wordpress. One that will allow me to publish many different stories from many different authors. Ideally, the newest stories will automatically be featured on the home page until they are pushed out by newer ones. I would like to be able to set how many fit on the homepage.

Something along the lines of the huffington post web site (Breaking News and Opinion on The Huffington Post) but not necessarily quite as big or complex.

Any suggestions?

  I'll agree with Will and recommend WooThemes. The framework does have a built-in option for a magazine layout if you wish, and the theme options and plugins make it hugely versatile. Very simple to use, too.

Solostream has a quite eligible selection in their list if you want a news blog for a general story with not-so-big picture, with clean and responsive design. I am sure design have a tangible effect in the eyes of a news reader, so if you want to have an engaging theme, make sure your theme provider is also able to give you an advice and direction for your incoming news blog.

I really like the Genesis news theme at Premium WordPress Themes by StudioPress. It's really flexible in terms of what you can do with it. For example, I used it to create this site for a client recently: Debt settlement helps you pay off credit cards quickly and affordably. (he did his own logo!)
