How Many Kindle Books Do You Currently Have?

This thread is not about who has the biggest d*ck :-) Just for a reference.

By the way, are you afraid of competition and what are your thoughts on market saturation* on Kindle?

*market saturation - this is when there are too many books on Amazon and too little audience to read them

I've got 17 books up. I'm not afraid of saturation or competition. Not one bit. TONS of stuff coming into that marketplace is crap. I keep seeing WSOs that still want to show people how to game the system and other "MMO" oriented stuff showing up on Kindle and I say, "YES!" Why? Because it will pare the market down even more making room for quality. There's always room for quality.

My 24th was just published this morning and went live.

Not worried about market saturation: like travelinguy said, there is a TON of stuff put out that is very low quality. That means if you produce high quality books, you'll be one of the few, and customers will stick with you.

  None yet. As usual I am late to the party. No books written or read on a Kindle, and I do not own a Kindle yet either. I just market on my Dell desktop 22" screen I can see. All of young guys will probably know why as you get older and blinder.

  I have a series of 5 with three bundled, now considering bundling the last two. I am working on a series of 6 to pubb early summer and will be bundling them in twos... I write fiction.

I have 6 non-fiction and 1 short story fiction under a pen name.

I am not concerned about saturation. Each person has a unique point of view when they write and people like variety. There is a trend for people to buy lots and lots of books on the same subject so I believe there is space for all of us.

Saturation? At these prices, people will buy several books on the same subject or topic. For fiction, people will buy as many books as they can read.

I have two I uploaded 2 years ago and aren't formatted well I am taking them down this week and reformatting the RIGHT way with images and everything

I have a 3rd going up this week sometime that I am excited about. A fourth (fiction) I wrote back when there were floppy discs on the computers and the hardware cost more than my first car. That one is being entered in digital format early summer and going up and I have outlines and ideas for 2 more.

Of all the things I do - writing is my favorite. HOWEVER, I am learning to protect my hands and fingers as I too get older Jeff Schuman! Dragon Naturally Speaking is fast becoming an even better friend.

I have 56 books on Kindle. Several authors' names. The only worry I have is how fast can I produce another quality book.

I only have ONE 40 page non-fiction book up, and the results are encouraging enough that I'm putting all of my efforts into this thing going forward. :-) Kindle rules!
