Distributing Flyers

Hey guys well I managed to get accepted to a good amount of cpa networks with some good offers. I stupidly invested all my money in cpv and lost my money. I tried most wsos that I bought they worked but stopped after a little bit I think it was too saturated. Theres really nothing I can do except drive traffic through article submission and that isn't really too good. So I had an idea of making some flyers and passing them out in some of the richer neighborhoods. Its bascially about skin care and anti aging. I basically well let them go to my landingpage. What do you think? Is this a good idea?

    It might be a very good idea to distribute flyers in your neighbourhood. It can do very well with the cpa offers.

      yeh this definately could be a good strategy depending on target market and the CPA campaign you are targeting.

        By neighbourhood I meant medical shops, health care clinics.

    I am not sure which country you are in, but here in the UK it is fairly normal to get flyers through the door.

    It is a great way to attract a whole new audience to your site, particularly for the niche you are talking about.

    One tip I use which you may find helpful is not to spread yourself too thinly.

    What I mean by that is, not to swamp a wide area with 10,000 flyers. I find it more profitable to send out a thousand for example and then keep hitting that 1000 with the same leaflet 4 or 5 times.

    The reason is, potential customers look at the leaflet and think "I will look at that site later".

    They them put it to one side and it gets mislaid.

    But when they get a reminder 2 or 3 times they then act on it and go to the site.

    This is a good tip if you are on a small budget.

    Also check around for printing costs....there are some great deals around.

    Hey gary and bill. I actually live in the US. I understand what you mean but wouldn't that also annoy people? I actually don't have any money to spend so I'm doing all the printing + distributing. You gotta work hard to get where you want and I'm ready to do it.

      It might be different in the US, but here in the UK, at least in my neighbourhood we are used to getting flyers. I get at least 4 takeaway menus, 3 plastic charity bags and patio and hedge cutting flyers through my door each week.

      Check out the prices of printers compared to printing the flyers yourself. It could work out more expensive using your own printer.

      I'd look for a flyer distribution service as soon as you can afford it, they're easy to find via Google and cheaper than you think

        It was for a free advertising site.

        It was a complete waste of my time and money.

        Really I got VERY few visitors from it. I should have spend money on PPC
        that way I would have got targeted traffic.

        Of course you may get better results - I had a knock out fly but maybe
        the recpients just were not computer literate enough ?

          It all depends on:

          • The copy on the flyer
          • The site
          • The product being promoted
          • The target audience
          • etc
          • etc

          Just as on the with online campaigns you need to test. I wouldn't give up on flyers.

          It depends on where you distribute your flyers. In the OP's case distributing flyer outside a skin care clinic or a health shop may work very well.

          And it depends on your quality of the flyers too, It should catch their eyes.

    Yes Frank I wanna do this and will improve it as soon as I make some money. I'm a college student so its hard since I have to pay my bills and all. Thanks for the advice though

    what was the product? Some products would be really stupid if you made offers for and some like food and ect are pretty good. So i guess there is a specific niche for fliers.
