What i ve learnt the past 30 years about life and Internet Marketing
Hello fellow Warriors.
Today i am turning 30.I still can't believe how the last 5 years of my life have passed. And i have to say i am grateful for what i have lived so far and the experience i have gained all these years.
So, what is this post all about? Is it just to gain some "Happy Birthday" wishes?Yes, sure, i would love that
But, it's not only that. I started this thread to give my perspective on how should we deal with life and business.Here's my advice.You are welcome to use what works, you are welcome to throw what you find is nonsense.
So, this is my 30th birthday evaluation.
1. Life's GREAT!The world is full of opportunities and ready to be explored!There are millions of interesting people waiting for you to meet!Yes, YOU!Don't throw away your life simply by working,eating and sleeping.You can travel,play music, go to a movie, go to gym, hang out with with a friend, go snowboarding, swim at the sea, enjoy a meal, have a cold beer,play games,.... and the list is ENDLESS! GO enjoy your LIFE!
2. People are GREAT! Yes, sure there are crappy people too but most of the people i meet are trully HAPPY, smiling and looking the bright side of life.Imagine living in my country(Greece) and having to hear all the day people wining about their paychecks, the economical crisis and s**t like that. It is really annoying.Step away from people that bring you down and start hanging out with people that lift you UP!
3. Always find time for your beloved ones.Everyone has a close a friend, wife, father, sister, colleague that has been neglected from us because "i have a lot of work to do,we 'll spend time tomorrow".And that tomorrow never comes.Time flies.Remember that.
4. Forgive anyone that has been unfair to you.People have their bad times and make mistakes.We also make mistakes.It's good to forgive and make piece with your "enemies"
5. Start giving money, food, clothes, anything you can, to charities. I was never that kind of guy.I never remember my self giving money to charities.And it's not because i didn't want to. It was because i always said that "if i have a lot of money, i will give some of them to charities".WRONG! Last month i gave 20€ to the "Medicins Sans Frontiers" (or "Doctors without Borders").It was not that much of an amount but i felt really GREAT! With that 20€ i gave clean water to 200 kids in Africa that don't have the ability to drink as we do.Think about how easy it's for us to have a glass of water and how people in Africa have to travel 5 miles every day to get to fresh clean water.
6. Do what you want and follow your passion! Someone has told you that he was into Internet Marketing and he was making loads of money.You hate computers, you have no idea about Internet Marketing but still you want to make money.Following IM in this case is the wrong choice. Don't chase the money.This is what i have been doing for the past 30 years and never made tons of money. Following your passion and helping others getting what they want in life, will eventually get you the desired life you always dreamt of. Noone's gonna give you money just because you are pretty! Fullfill a need, sell a useful product, make people feel happy and you will make money.Guaranteed.
7. Be grateful for what you already have.Do not always growl about everything.Some people are in a better fate from others.Some people are worse.I am not rich but i make a great living with all i already have.I have a big house, a nice car, a motorcycle, my friends, my family, my fiancee and work from wherever i want.Why shouldn't i be grateful?
8. Internet Marketing related. I ve been into Interent Marketing for about 4 years now.I quit my job 18 months ago and never looked back since.It was the best decision of my life.I am not rich but i always remind myself that i am pretty lucky to have discovered the beautiful world of Internet Marketing and it's endless possibilities. As i said before, i am one of the many examples here in the Warrrior Forum that actually making money from the Internet.For all the newbies out there : This IM thing WORKS!You won't be rich in 10 days but you will have the ability to make a lot of money if you learn all(or most of them) the aspects of Internet Marketing.Guaranteed.
9. Focus.Do you know what focus means?
F(ollow) O(ne) C(ourse) U(ntil) S(ucessful).
Follow only one method Until you make money.The hardest part is to make 1$.Then you will learn how to scale this up and make more money.Guaranteed.You can easily get angry, anxious or filled up to the neck with all that information given away related to Internet Marketing.
10. Get a mentor/coach.The money you will give him, it will the best money you will ever spend.Do your research and find someone with proven results and success with other people.Don't let scammers waist your time and money.If your coach knows what he's doing, you will be his next success story.Guaranteed.
Hope this will help some of you see the things with a different perspective.
